Very nice, check-in super easy, Cambria is a beautifil city, and there’s a great restaurant next to the inn. Would definitely recommend it.

David and all the staff were great! The hotel could definitely use some upgrades but it was clean and we will definitely come back. We had a wonderful stay.

Amazing get away for just the two of us. Thank you.

I stayed in the king deluxe suite partial ocean view the view was great the jacuzzi was big and worked well you can hear the ocean from your room the bed felt great as well the beach is right across the street not many fast food options around a lot of restaurants that close early and don’t do take out but other than they me an my wife will definitely come back.

The carpets in room 100 are filthy dirty and gross. We only walked on them with shoes. The wall heater didn’t work. Ran fireplace all night room was cold. Repair person got it fixed next day. We asked for a blanket that was not delivered. Body wash shower container out. Had to ask for that which was brought. Curtain was ripped and overall furnishings were old and worn. Didn’t sit in the chairs. This is a great location and staff were nice, but wouldn’t stay here again. This place needs a total remodel!

Great views, proximity to ocean.

Wonderful experience all around. Not our first time staying here. Definitely not our last.

Great room, with an even better view. Lots of near by restaurants that you can walk to.
Unfortunately the whole town had a black out on our stay, which lasted the whole night. I was told by the receptionist the next morning that it happens often in Cambria which is very disappointing. Considering the amount of money per night you pay, you'd expect to have a notice or some compensation. If it wasn't for the extra blankets we packed we would have been freezing. Call ahead, and bring extra blankets just in case.

There was no service after 5 pm each evening. We had trouble with the heat and called the desk at 7 pm. After 20 or so rings someone answered from a different hotel and told us that no on could check the het until the next day. The next day there was no one on duty at all and no one came to check the heat. We had no heat in the room for the entire stay.

Location
Older carpet, smelly, we did not have power

Beautiful room and fantastic view

David the assistant manager was amazing. He was so nice and hospitable during our stay there. This hotel was fantastic! And the location is amazing. We were at the ocean in 10 feet from our room. Not to mention next door to some great restaurants. I can’t wait to go back and take the whole family!

Beautiful area, helpful staff, rooms not well maintained. Expensive for value received.

Our favorite things, besides the ocean view from our partial ocean view balcony, was the fact that you could cross the street and access moonstone beach. It is a wonderful hotel and great place for a vacation!

Things were a little dated but very comfortable. Large room. Very friendly service. Great gated private patio with views of the ocean. Great for dogs. Ample parking.

Priscilla, who was at the front desk, was friendly, helpful, and went out of her way to make the experience a good one.

The gentleman that checked us in was super friendly and the property and room were very clean. This cute little inn has the best ocean view.

Location on moonstone beach was perfect! Dog friendly hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean, and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. The checkin process after 6pm was inconvenient. We had to wait at the pelican suites for 25” until the employee returned from break which caused us to miss dinner.

Everything was wonderful. Enjoyed the atmosphere, Moonstone Beach across the street, the fireplace and Pricilla & David are so very welcoming!!
Thanks for memorable vacation!!

The front desk guy Dave I think? was very gracious and friendly. I had called the week prior to confirm and spoke to a woman (sorry, can't remember name) and told her we were a family of 5 so she left a note for Dave to upgrade to a bigger room no charge with a queen sleeper! Very nice! Right next to the Moonstone grill. Very convenient. Very clean. We would stay there again!

Spacious room, comfy bed, awesome location (the beach is literally across the street), quiet, and clean. Bathroom needs updating but the towels were soft and fluffy.
3.0
If you stay here make sure you bring water and snacks for the morning. There was no breakfast like other hotels and no water for drinking (bathroom sink water only).
2.0
The room was dirty. The only area we felt was clean were the beds. Walls curtains, sliding glass door, carpet and shower had stained liquids on them.

Nice Moonstone Beach Ocean View

We stayed two nights (Sun-Mon) just prior to Thanksgiving. Facility is directly across the street from the beach and the sounds of the ocean are soothing. Check-in/out was a breeze w/the room upgraded from two queens to a king. Staff were friendly and responsive. I witnessed some unpleasant guest behavior and thought the staff were exceedingly patient. Room was fine although it did show some wear (bathroom). Hotel is dog friendly (be prepared for a one-time $40 fee) but you need to walk your pup off grounds. Right next door to a well regarded restaurant (Moonstone Bar & Grill) and down the street from another that serves traditional meals, The Cow Tipper

We stayed two nights in an ocean view room on the ground floor. That takes the best advantage of the location. If you are staying there, that is definitely well worth the additional cost.
2.0
Older property that they are trying to keep maintained. But it just needs some major remodeling- carpets are stained, bathroom fixtures are worn and very dated.
Very nice clerk checked us in

The greeting at the front desk was above, and beyond will be expected. Very friendly, made us feel at home. It has a cozy, coastal feel to the whole place. We were very comfortable and enjoyed it very much with stay there again, without hesitation.

Having an uninstructed view of the ocean made thus stay delightful!

Unkept property. Rooms need update

Uncomfortable chairs inside room and on the patio. No daily room service (fresh towels, empty trash, make bed).

I had to ask twice to have someone fix the electrical outlet in my room...I could not use my hair tools and that's very important to women. My friend had a bad remote and could not watch TV her first night and no one was on duty to help us. At 300.oo/night I expect TV and working electrical outlets,

Amazing view of ocean from balcony! Left the sliding door open at night and heard the waves…best sleep I’ve had in years!

Enjoyed the ocean close to the motel
