Perfect, only fault is with the Hotels.com site, who gave me the wrong address and the maps link on there page sent me the complete opposite way. Hotel is clean, staff are awesome, friendly and helpful, price is a bargain and location is fab. Best cheap hotel Ive stayed in, should actually charge more, but dont cause I'll come back :) x

Fantastic spot. Super easy hotel, A few mins walk from Central Rail Station and The Castle in opposite directions. Staff super friendly, Room tidy and easy to navigate

Could not ask for anywhere better when travelling solo. Location was convenient, staff couldn't be more helpful and breakfast was immensely satisfying.

I stayed 1 night easy to find hotel comfy bed I did not eat in the hotel so I cannot comment on food clean enjoyed my stay here

Room could have been warmer, plus there was no ironing facilities in the room, which was disappointing as I had specifically requested it. Everything else was excellent though, especially the buffet breakfast which was fantastic. I was also very disappointed that there was no restaurant at this hotel.

The heating unit was terrible. It barely worked and when it was on, it make a very loud, high-pitched sound that prohibited me from sleeping.

The customer service that we first saw could not check us in because we came before 3pm. We sat at the reception area sleeping after flying all night from another continent to Newcastle, England. To my greatest surprise, one day, I was at the receiption another guest (WHITE) came almost the time that we came and they checked him in.
That hotel doesn't have anything to host Americans, no microwave, fridge, and the house keepers, doesn't do their jobs.
The room is too small, the bathroom is unbelievably dirty and toilet. We still didn't believe we stayed their for 2 weeks.
We already, made them known that we won't recommended the place nor staying their again.

Was in Newcastle for business on q Wednesday. Room was very cheap. Hotel is right next to central station. I checked in very late around 1am, desk staff were very polite and efficient. The room was basic but modern and clean and comfortable enough. With tea and coffee facilities. For one night to sleep, for the price it was very good value.
The only downsides were the floorboards in the room were a bit noisy and the shower pressure really wasn't great.

I have stayed here a few times and always found it very convenient for train travel and shopping, the hotel has always been very clean with lovely polite and helpful staff, however this time I felt a little let down with the cleanliness of our room, there were ring marks probably left from cups or glasses on the glass shelf in the bedroom and the bathroom could have been cleaner too, maybe they have new cleaning staff that need more training.

Had a full on eventful day, didn’t check in until late. Forgot to pack phone charger but noticed you had USB socket so got charger cable from car. DIDNT WORK.

Nice hotel overall! Friendly staff, comfortable beds and very safe and secure as you have to buzz in past 11pm and confirm your name and room number. There was a stain on one of the power sockets though and a lot of dust in the air conditioning unit. These where the only two downsides to an otherwise perfect stay.

Fabulous place to stay. Close to the station. Clean, comfy and rooms have all that you need. The breakfast was delicious. The team there were just lovely. So friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location, just a give minute walk from the station. A great check in experience and as per my request, I was offered a quiet room. Which was very thoughtful. The room was spacious and with a great view. A great nights sleep too.

Very clean and inviting hotel with friendly staff. Didn’t find the beds the comfiest but room was nicely decorated and clean. Only issue was the bar only had 1 beer on tap available at the start of the trip, then ran out of all by the end. Staff advised this was due to changing beer brands but didn’t plan ahead for this.

unfortunately stayed in the family room. very disappointed with the hygiene for a family room. mould on curtains and on window. and the air con matted with heavy dust. normally a good stay hopefully this is a one off.
