The hotel is in a beautiful location and the room was very comfortable and beautiful. Breakfast was good. The only issue we experienced was that a staff member mistakenly assumed we were part of a tour group and asked us to move to another table. After checking, she realized it was a misunderstanding and apologized. It was resolved quickly, but it did make for an uncomfortable start to the morning. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay.

Great atmosphere with very mountainy feel. Lots of knotty pine walls and ceilings. Breakfast was very good. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Would highly recommend. If you stay here, ask for a room on floor 4 or 5 facing the Matterhorn.
As a side note, we went in late May and did not realize that many of the bars and restaurants in Zermatt and hiking areas were closed in between winter and summer season during May. Also, May is construction season so motorized construction vehicles are allowed in town. Not that big of a deal, just a "heads up".

Amazing property! Has the perfect mix of old world charm + modern updates. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is INCREDIBLE! So attentive, kind, helpful and friendly! Would absolutely recommend this hotel, and want to come back on my next trip to Zermatt!

Hotel was very clean and centrally located to all main attractions. We could walk to anywhere from here. Hotel staff was excellent and very professional and helpful. Had great time here and would highly recommend it.
