Perfect location. On the boardwalk. Beach is only steps away. Beach view is perfect. Small quaint property with an awesome tiki bar.

It was right on the beach and they provided towels, chairs, and an umbrella. It was a nice apartment type of hotel that supplied everything you needed and they had an outside bar with live band. I would definitely stay here again!!

Not a fancy updated hotel, but it was perfect for us! Right on the beach, food service, tiki bar, live music daily, staff was great! We will definitely be back!

Had to call police on guests staying in room 3. We were woke up with screaming from a female coming out of the room. Serious fight. We were up all night as we did not feel safe. No one in the office to contact and no one in the office when we decided to leave in the morning. Terrible experience. I want a response from the property.

This is the place to stay! They have live entertainment from 12:30 to 8:30 at night! It was the happening place but not over the top! What the pictures show is what it's like. The rooms are a little dated but we didn't stay in the room much! The bathroom was very small but we made do! Everyone was super helpful and nice!

this place had a great vibe, just what we were looking for. Live music and great food right outside our room, right across from the beach! The room itself was clean, but showing it's age. Coats of paint don't quite cover that! lol Staff was friendly, they were flexible with our check in and out times to meet our schedule, the bar was lively and fun and location was amazing.

I wanted to stay close to the ocean, so the location worked out very well. The staff worked to help me overcome the detail I forgot when I was booking a hotel--that I preferred an elevator. Dragging suitcases up to the second floor would have been a grind, but fortunately the desk staff took care of it for me. A huge shout out of appreciation there!! I enjoyed getting to see much of the Broadwalk. There was bicycle rental place relatively nearby. That was nice, an easy way to take more of the area in. When we were there, a scheduled event was going on that attracted a rather large turnout. I liked the fact that the party-goers were not unruly, and that it wound up around 9:00 p.m., as we had a very early departure the following morning. I was pleased to be able to have a cocktail and supper while litstening to the live music. We really liked our room. It was spacious, clean, and had a view of the ocean. If you're checklist includes similar things, you'll be happy here.

What’s unique about this property is that they have Oscar. He made check in so easy and painless. He’s very welcoming and approachable. Very professional and thorough. The rooms are surprisingly big! Very clean. It seems like the way the rooms are set up, you get an amazing view no matter what room you get. Very awesome. Thank you Oscar!

Bottled water in the room would have been convenient. But otherwise, great spot, good drinks, liked the area, staff was nice and accommodating. Would stay again and plan on it!

Nothing to say wow about this place. Everything is so old, small. I don’t recommend staying there.

The property is primarily a tiki bar with a mixed crowd. Music starts at 1230pm, ends atone 9pm. The office staff was very nice. We arrived 4 hours before check in following a cruise. She was able to store our luggage while we went out to the beach. The room was ready an hour before check in. The beach outside is really pretty. It's seriously right there. The area is really nice. Really, something for everyone. I loved exploring the area. They did get the room done an hour before check in, but it was not the Oceanview I had reserved. Not a big deal, we were only there one night. The room itself is tiny. The beds are cheap. The comforters had cigarette burns in them. There was someone else's hair on my sheets and in the shower. There was a layer of dust on top of the wicker furniture. The kitchen area had one very tiny sauce pan The stove top appeared broken, but there was a hot plate in the cabinet I assume we would've been expected to use. The cleanliness was not where we would've liked so we didn't eat in the room at all. There also isn't really anywhere to eat. For a room with 2 queen beds there was a plastic patio table and one plastic patio chair pushed up along side the bed and wall. The bathroom is small. There was someone else soap gunk in the shower. There were pieces of trash under the bed. The bathroom door didn't close. The widows are ALL able to be seen into from other units or the bar. It did not feel safe being there alone with my young daughter alone.

Do not stay here if you mind music playing in the tiki bar starting at 11am until 9pm. It sounds like it is in your room.

Last minute booking. First time at the Riptide. Our room was in the south building first level. Will not do that again. The bar is right there! We would be fine with the second floor or north building. Building was dated, but it was OK. We had a good time with the bar and live music daily and will have no problem coming back.

The Riptide is a fantastic place to stay to be close to the beachfront and easy access to all the fun places! Rooms are what I'd call 'vintage' - little on the older side. But the beachfront and Tiki bar well made up for it!

Outside of being right on the beach, live music right at your front door which ends at a reasonable time and walking distance to a lot of dinning options as well as at the hotel. Reminds me of Wildwood NJ!!
