The Up North room is the best room at the Frankfort Restaurant and Hotel. The balcony faces the main street. You can relax in the sauna then enjoy a jacuzzi bath. The decor makes you feel like you are in the north country.

Everything was amazing! We loved the hot tub sauna room! The tub was big and clean! The staff was over the top helpful and nice. We even got a tour of the other rooms! The restaurants food was also amazing! Would definitely come again.

Cool building inside and rooms. Very friendly staff. Hotel was clean throughout. Town was nice.
Only downside, the bed was a little to firm but nothing the hot tub and sauna didn’t fix. I stayed in the world traveler room.

We loved this place. It was December when we went and hotel restaurant was not open during the week, however local places were walking distance. The room was very quaint, welcoming, and it’s the only place I’ve been to that had a large ho tub and a sauna in the room. We stayed in the world traveler room, and I cannot wait to go back again.

Beautiful, quaint, cozy. A wonderful welcome by the front desk all the way through the bartender and hostess. Good is fantastic. Location is close to everything yet still quiet. A wonderful place to experience a Michigan winter weekend. The room was clean, comfortable and I wish I could have stayed longer!!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It has a cozy warm atmosphere. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant and bar were not open because we came off season but many within walking distance. The room was immaculately clean and the beds were amazing. It feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. We would definitely come back.

My husband and I have this joke that I'm not allowed to pick hotel rooms because the last several I've chosen have been experiences that we wouldn't choose to repeat. At best, we weren't horrified but weren't going back to that hotel... THIS trip redeemed my hotel-picking confidence. We booked the Blue Heron room and it was elegantly decorated, much larger than any hotel room that I've ever been in to the point that it felt like a suite, had a beautiful view over main street, and the blue velvet couches around the electric fireplace were a wonderful place to relax in the evening to share a drink with my husband AND to sit and sip my coffee in the morning as I woke up. The bathroom was spacious and had a tiled, walk-in shower that was almost as big as some whole hotel bathrooms I've been in and made me want that at our home. The staff was friendly when we checked in, as we bought an artist's print from their shop (even sharing with us some of their favorite pieces hanging around the building), and as we checked out. Both my husband and I decided that we are definitely staying here the next time we're in the area overnight.

Quaint boutique style hotel. Restaurant was very good. Recommend the whitefish! A little pricey but average for the area! Area has lots of cute shopping and great area restaurants! Love the Frankfort area!

Although it was brief, I really enjoyed my stay at Hoel Frankfurt. The staff was very friendly and the location was second to none. I will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay! The only thing I would do different is have the A/C on upon arrival. It was very hot in the room, but it cooled down in no time. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

The older style was very cool. The staff was friendly. The only downfall was that there was not enough staff so the restaurant was not open for breakfast or lunch. There was complimentary coffee and prepacked danishes and muffins, just not aboe to get a cooked breakfast there. I was looking forward to the omlette bar.

The hotel is located in a cute, walkable town with lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were very nice. :-) We had a great time.

Room was nice and beds were very comfortable. Great location. Staff was very friendly. Bathroom was small and not in great shape. Had to have staff get cable working and then it shut down later and stopped working.

The staff were great and helped a lot as it was just a week earlier that my wife had knee replacement surgery.

The room was clean and quiet, however, it was advertised with coffee and breakfast. Upon checking in, we were told there was no dining and given a $5 card for a local cafe, which was no better than a McDonalds! There should have been a discount for lack of breakfast or at least some diner that served sitdown breakfast!!! Will not stay again!

Comfortable beds and linen. Best location near shopping and several restaurants. The window opened which is a huge plus for me and my room had a clean smell free of deodorants. Each room in this charming hotel is different.
My room was a twin queen bed set up which left little room for hanging clothes with just three sturdy hooks for hanging clothes. One flaw was in the smallish shower where the shower could not spray lower than my waist.

Mattress should have been replaced over a year ago. Bar and restaurant were both closed during our stay. Staff only works between 8 am and 9 pm during off hours you can call someone off site. Carpets are stained. Not sure how it can be rated a 3 star hotel

Although they try hard, being handicapped was a challenge, I’m not in a wheelchair however the back lot was always full and the parking outside the hotel is first come first serve your next to cars and can’t open the doors all the way. Then it was quite a hike to the hotel through the hotel and down the hallway to our room. The stairs to the upper units were very narrow, might me mindful and book a ground floor with no spiral staircase. The maids were very hard working and everyone tries very hard to keep everything nice and fun. It’s a very charming place nice covered patio out back

Excellent service. We got to check in early, which was fabulous since we wanted to get into our room and head to the beach ! Very clean and perfect location.
