A poor stay. Cleanliness and room prep was substandard. And, the TV was inoperative.

Service at front desk and restaurant was very mediocre. They had a hot tub but was not heated and jets did not work. It was close to the airport and had a shuttle fortunately

Hotel was conveniently located close to the airport with a shuttle that goes to the airport every hour. Room was ok with nothing more to add. Bathroom should be cleaner. Pool was very refreshing and buffet dinner option is very smart as nothing else is really close by.

The air conditioning make very loud popping noises all night long, constantly waking us up and making it difficult to fall back to sleep. The room was still uncomfortably hot. It also caused a puddle of water on the floor. The maids came in without knocking 5 different times.

We are a family of five who spent a night here because we had to catch an early flight the next day. We have young kids and had to get up at 5am so we went to bed at 9pm. At 10:30pm a maid knocked on the door and immediately proceeded to let herself into our room, waking everyone up and giving my wife and kids a good scare. I jump out of bed and asked her to leave. My Spanish isn’t good enough that I could understand why she came in - don’t know why you would just walk into a room at that time. When it was time to get up in the morning the fire alarm started to go off. We were already up and on our way out, but must have sucked for everyone else.

Just here for one night to rest. Place very clean and organized. Hotel shuttle to and from the airport a plus. Buffet in the restaurant really good, RECOMMENDED. Restaurant staff also very good and helpful.

nice hotel. Large pool, large room, comfortable bed, large bathroom with walk-in shower. Safe, lots of electrical outlets, iron and ironing board, good restaurant. Nothing around it so no walking to anything really but it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle. We did really like the pool.

This is a very convenient hotel for PTY access. The shuttle is excellent. Most staff are attentive and competent. The property is aging and not up to the standards of most Crowne Plazas, but if it’s just a night before a flight, that’s not a problem. Price is reasonable, though the buffets were not particularly tasty and over priced compared to orders from the menu. Kids liked the pool. I would have no hesitation coming back, but if you have time, Panama City has better choices for a home atmosphere.

We always stay at this hotel when travel back home. It has always been great. Not sure if management has changed or what. There was no coffee or cups in the room…we called down and they brought us one…unfortunately when we tried to make coffee this morning at 4:30 the machine didn’t work. We ordered Pizza at the restaurant last night and half was hard as a brick and the other half ok. This was not a 5 star stay this time.

Aside from the airport shuttle there wasn't even a complementary bottle of water in the room, NO complementary breakfast neither dinner like must hotels especially for the price... The hotel might be the closest stay to the airport, but that it's also the reason Crown Plaza are able to get away with anything and not provide what should be included with your stay.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful! The rooms need improvement. In our room there is no hot water in the shower. The shower curtain is above the ridge so water leaks out. The floor beside the bed requires a good scrubbing.

The room’s inside lock was BROKEN. Like someone ripped it out with a tool. So not enough safety inside the room. The room was smelly, like an old carpet with mold that has been used too much but without the propper cleaning. There were not even one single bottle of water. The bathroom curtain was attached to the holder so you couldn’t move it; like the staff worried someone would steal it. There were no lights inside the bathroom. I won’t stay here again and I won’t recommend it.

Not enough employees to service amount of guests - long wait times for check-in and restaurant service. Given room already occupied and had additional wait time to get another room. Service at bar was atrocious. One gentleman waited over 15 mins after requesting his check, when there were only 5 other patrons at bar. No restaurant service.

This is a nice hotel. We like it for the convenience to the airport. It's always our first stop after arriving to gather ourselves for the journey ahead. The restaurant is very good, the staff is courteos and friendly, nice pool area, and comfortable beds.

I stayed there only one night - and that was more than enough. The bed-side lamps were missing the shades. That's right! Someone stole hotel bed lamp shades. There's no warm water in my shower, and the whole room (117) looked dirty. The AC sounded like a lawnmower. The bed was made, so that was a good thing. The funny part is that I took the room because the nightmarish airport of Tocumen was a disaster to spend the night at, and I thought I needed a bed. While I'm glad there's nobody laying-in-chalk at my room, I can't avoid thinking about all the things that made my room look like a crime scene. The hotel is literally a quarter mile away from the airport exit, but the shuttle runs every hour. So, get an Uber because you cannot walk that empty field in-between. If you ask for an Uber tip it well, that trip is the shortest one.

I booked this hotel for our daughter her husband and their 2 children one month before they needed it. They could hear the planes at night because of their location, but generally their one night stay went well. The shuttle didn't work out beause they don't run often enough but the taxi got them there. Thankyou Crown Plaza for being so convenient.

Wish they were enough sign outside the airport for pickup service. We have to rent a cab from the airport to the hotel since the airport pickup service is not visible and frequent.

The staff was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. We were here for a quick 18 hour layover. There’s nothing in the area other than this hotel and the airport. Extremely convenient for those who want to be near the airport. It’s a quick 30min Uber ride to anywhere in the city.
