This was our second time to stay at Norma Dan. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was wonderful. I would recommend this place for anyone.

I made this reservation because of the reviews I have seen in social media as we travel to the smokies several times a year and I like to try different locations. I must say that this location held true to the reviews. Everyone I contacted during my stay was nice and helpful and made time to just talk. I read somewhere that Norma and Dan's philosophy was don't spend all your money on a place to sleep...spend it on having fun & doing things. This hotel reminded me of those that we would spend time in during family road trips. There was no lipstick on a pig...the rooms had comfortable beds & pillows, lots of room, a hot shower with lots of pressure. The rooms did not have expensive granite counters or tile floors, but they looked, felt, and smelled clean! After the last few trips we have made, it was so great to come back to a fresh, clean room when we had been out and about all day. If I am going to criticize, there are only a few things: need more lighting in back parking lot, breakfast could be better (not bad though), and the TP dispenser could be moved so you don't have to reach backwards (LOL). Overall, this was a good stay and I feel certain that we will be back!

Older hotel that does show its age with basic rooms. The parking lot and common areas could use a clean-up (i.e. cigarette butts). Beds were comfortable (which was most important to us), bathroom was clean and there was daily housekeeping. Good central location. Did offer a basic continental breakfast (we never went to it). TVs in the room are really small (if that’s important to you) but good channel selection. Very friendly front desk. Rooms had a mini frig. Room keys are actual keys and not keycards. If you’re looking for a no frills comfortable place to sleep, this hotel fills that bill. People gave this hotel a ‘superb’ rating—I would give it an ‘Average’ rating. The hotel is right across the street from Dolly’s Stampede Dinner Show and 10 minutes from Dollywood.

Great place to stay on the Parkway. Spacious rooms, clean. Quiet, close to attractions. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed talking with the two ladies in the front lobby.

Couldn't ask for friendlier service, cleaner room, or convenient location. May not be a newer hotel, but kept up and up to date. Will not consider staying anywhere else.

The staff was super nice. Check in and out was fast and easy. The hotel is older, but very clean. The price was very reasonable. It had indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. They were well maintained. We will definitely stay here again.

The personnel were wonderful! Quiet, peaceful,...just a nice place to stay. Easy access to everything, located near the end of Pigeon Forge, making it easier to go to Gatlinburg & the Smoky Mountain Park. Two pools, continental breakfast every morning. It was extremely nice.

I liked the balcony. I liked the motel having pools. Bed was comfortable. Wish the breakfast had more choices. Always had enough towels. The motel seemed old and bathroom especially needs an upgrade. The shower was hard to work. It looked like it was going to break. The outside seemed unkempt.

Everything was very clean and property was in very good shape for an older property. The price was great. The Continental Breakfast was slim, very basic, but was enough. Our biggest complaint was the room had nothing to put a suitcase(s)/travel bag(s) on, except the bed. There was not any countertop in the bathroom for wife's make-up, hair & toiletry items. The room appeared exceptionally clean.
