Not good, tried to contact hotels.com but did not get help with virtual support.
No garden view, the only one window was for some light and ventilation opposite of the courtyard. The beds and sheets really unacceptable, cardboard bed and thin dingy sheets. Hotel needs to warn guest the convent bells go off all day long 24 hours a day, makes it hard to have a good night sleep. Location is all they have to brag about. Mediocre food and employees. Since I paid in advance we had to stay the entire time but really wanted to change hotels. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned out to be the opposite. Please at least there should be a warning about the bells waking people up every hour and at times just random 24 hours a day.

I really liked the location and the room size. I didn’t like that they didn’t clearly state that you shouldn’t drink the tap water . Once I asked about this they directed me down the hall to a water fountain and paper cups, no bottled water in the room or glasses so you could fill up at the fountain and bring it to your room. Also, there was no coffee maker in the room, which is fine but I’d hoped that there was a place to get yourself a cup of coffee 24/7. Instead you had to go to the restaurant the but only restaurant hours to order a coffee.

Great location, right in the middle of everything, including the famous arch. Nice room, clean. Only 2 things I did not like: small bed, and thin walls where I could hear other guests conversations.

What I loved was the location! Everything is nearby! What I didn’t like was; beds were hard, bathroom was so small and No AC ! We got a fan from the staff but it was so noisy!! Also be careful with bugs ! There was a huge spider on my shoe.

Not happy about the parking it was supposed to be free and one of the amenities I selected on app free parking and was not free was belittled by hotel about it not a good experience

Beautiful place the view, oh my god Nice!
Unfortunately On one of the beds I saw woodworm , but we were so tired, and we move together to the other bed. I believe the sound of the chime clock I heard the whole night every 15 minutes and every hour, which is good for some people.

This was a horrible stay. This was not a deluxe room, it had no AC, the pictures look nothing like it. It ruined our stay! Horrible will never recommend this expensive run down spot!

The hotel is right in the middle of the action in Antigua, next to the landmark arch - The rooms are around a large patio, which had music and a lot of other noise until late, so it certainly isn’t a place to where you can go back to your room and relax in the evening, but it’s a great location if you want to be in the middle of everything in Antigua - If you are looking for a hotel with peace and quiet at night, best to look elsewhere

I love the traditional colonial look of this hotel. The courtyard was amazing. The restaurant was romantic and I’m told they often have live music. Wonderful stay.

For an old hotel you don’t expect air conditioning ,level walking areas . It is very charming and the restaurant is actually fantastic. it’s convenient to everything but being under the arch you get harassed by sellers of souvenirs

The hotel is historic yet quite functional, and excellently located. The staff were very cooperative in every way, as long as you enjoy a leisurely breakfast - and when we needed it quicker, they delivered. Being in the center of things meant there could be local noise at times, so early or light sleepers might prefer a less centrally located hotel.

Beautiful place to stay. Very convenient walking distance to everything in Antigua. Magda, at the front desk was very helpful and everyone was exceptionally friendly. The beds are somewhat hard for my level of comfort, but we still enjoyed our stay very much.

Hotel Convento Santa Catalina was the best location to spend New Year's Day. The music performed by several groups on the December 31st right under the Arco was a real treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful with arranging transportation. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

First time I stayed here. It’s an ok hotel. Staff was very nice. They have 24 hour front desk. Music was really loud until 6:30 pm. I was expecting a quiet hotel with grandeur. It is a family oriented, active place. So it wasn’t bad, just not what I wanted. It’s more of a budget class. No drinking water in the rooms. Had to go out at night to find bottled water.
Otherwise, if I changed my expectations it would have been fine.

The hotel is in the BEST location, the staff was super friendly as well. But the rooms are super noisy ... literally is like you are sharing the room with other guests, yo can heard EVERYTHING from the other rooms. Also the wifi was not working at all.
I would not recommned the hotel honestly, so sad because the staff and the gardens were amaizng.

The front desk associates were very friendly and helped with all of the questions that I had, however, the wifi connection was horrible. Couldn’t connect to the wifi in my room, had to go to the courtyard to use wifi and even then it was really slow. This made it difficult to get work done.

This is a RESTAURANT, not a hotel, they make gatherings every weekend for everyone to come to the restaurant. Live music is in front of your room.
Don’t come if you want to rest, unless you want children to play in front of your room and music at 8am in the morning.
Wifi is terrible or not good.
No room service after 10pm and no one is around in case you need anything.
Pictures in Expedia are not actual, the rooms are out dated.
Refrigerator did not work.
Staff is great!
