Great location in La Malbaie. Beautiful view of the River. Century old home, lovely inside although quite warn. Overall very clean and friendly staff. Stayed in the large room on top floor facing River. Part of balcony looks like it may collapse at any time. Exterior is significantly run down and the grounds are not cared for. It's a shame the place has not been kept up. It could be such a beautiful spot. Would not return. For the cost, there are many other beautiful places to stay near by.

Beautiful view of the bay. Older historic building so don’t expect sleek design. But homey feel. Friendly staff. Well situated. Beautiful terrasse overlooking the water. Overall a good experience.

It was so and so, no facilities foran handiacp person, terribly wirh an effort to climb three steps of stairs. Yes help was offered, but goin up and down three times a day, was very painful, and the stairway was very dark, and beside I fell on the last step, because the lighting was missing. Not sure that I would want to return.

Friendly staff, bathroom we had was tiny as it was in a dormer, bf couldn’t stand in the shower and many parts of the bathroom.

For the price charged, no room cleaning (for the 3 nights) provided giving the excuse of the "persisting pandemic conditions". Room floor sticky.

We’ve stayed one night at this property, arrived at the end of the afternoon et departed the next morning. So we didn’t visit the area this review is all about the hotel. If you like history and don’t mind stay at a relatively old and well maintained building this place is for you. I had the chance to talk with the front desk gentleman about the hotel and maintenance program, very interesting. Room is clean and big enough, none of the room is equivalent so each room is unique (information obtained from front desk). The restaurant in my opinion is an experience to have. Staff is very kind. Overall, if you have a couples a day to spend in a nice area go for it, it’s not the luxury of a chateau but it worth it.

The hotel was located in a beautiful and quiet area, very friendly and helpful staff. The food at the restaurant was a let down for us and the rooms need a little extra care but I guess it’s normal for a place that’s over 100 years old. All in all it was a better than average experience.

I had to much stair
And the food was not great either the room was like a attic so small with the ceiling very low was my fuset time with expedia n the last time too

I highly recommend if you like colonial types of housing!
The only things I would say would be that the mattress was too firm but not cheap and the shower would need to get more pressure, especially with the jets in it which is a great idea but just not as functional because of the lack of pressure.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. It's an older hotel that is charming. It does not have an elevator.
Enjoyed our diner in the restaurant.
The waiters we're very helpful and super nice.

This is an old run down hotel with no elevator and our room was situated on the 3 rd floor. It was a very hot and humid day and the AC unit in the window was not cold enough but very noisy and our one and only night was without very much rest. The breakfast which was included in the room rate was toast, coffee and orange juice ( Tang) $ 175.00 tax included I guess it’s time to stop travelling and stay home until hotels wake up and smell the coffee.

An old hotel (1901) that has been fixed up nicely. Good pool, hot tub, shower and bed. If you're over 175cm, don't take room 232, the toilet is cramped.

Our room on the 2nd floor was newly renovated , very nice , no shower , bath only...
The main entrance was not inviting , not clean , it would be nice to have the main entrance being all clean and inviting , same thing with the dining room , it needs to be upgraded. Included breakfast is made of toast and jelly !

We did not have an opportunity to stay at this residence. When we booked we were told it was '27 kilometers' from our location. What we weren't aware of was that it was on the other side of a river and a six hour drive away. We tried to cancel, tried to contact Expedia but there has been no response. We would appreciate a call from somebody at 905-301-3988 to try to get our money back.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au Manoir. Les gens qui y travaillent sont exceptionnellement sympathiques! La vue de la terrasse est splendide. Nous avons aussi soupé au resto et tout le groupe a bien aimé (de 7 à 77 ans)

Le personnel était accueillant, mais nous n'avions pas de douche dans notre chambre et le bain en coin n'était pas très pratique. Pas de pression et nous devions tenir le bras d'actionnement de la douchette pour que celle ci fonctionne bien.

The space is good but the linen of all beds is not change and the room is not organize, and linen has hair of previous occupant.

It was the rustic experience that we were hoping for. It does need some work but again that comes with the charm of being an older property
