Lovely place, gorgeous art, spectacular view from very large shared balcony, terrific hosts, amazing breakfast. Absolutely nothing to critique—even the little dog was adorable.

Beautiful place. Amazing view. Rebecca and Keith were warm and welcoming hosts Highly recommend!

The view is amazing on a porch and you have the living space and your room and bathroom private. She’s a nice lady with a good soul and she’ll cook breakfast and eat on a balcony with a beautiful view. It’s hard to get there at night a little the first time but just follow the direction. It’s a nice spot to stay.

Thank you for our beautiful stay!

We loved the lanai with the incredible view, the beautiful room and location, and the delicious breakfast with fresh fruit ant something to please a nearly vegetarian (me) and meat eater (my husband). The host was welcoming, helpful and genuine. It is hard to find, but love the privacy and the host sent a photo to help us find the place

Amazing view, quite remote spot. Driveway is windy downhill just fyi but it adds to how remote this place is!

We stayed at Kona palace for one night. It was a great experience with the host Rebecca and her dog Oreo. The house located on the bottom of a steep slope so driving was a bit tricky. Yet we were able to do it without 4WD. And because of the slope, we were able to witness hte most stunning sunset from the terrance, along with the beautiful landscape and Pacific ocean. During the night, the sound of coqui frog was eminent, which made it a unique (in a good way) immersive tropical living experience. Farm-to-table breakfast prepared by Rebecca is healthy and delicious. She also graciously packed a whole bag of fruits for our rest of the trip!

Set in an elegant lovely home, so comfortable and clean. Amazing hosts - great company and conversation at breakfast. Breakfasts were excellent, great coffee, fresh local (some from their beautiful garden) tropical fruits. Lots of special extra touches like nice beach towels and robes. View from the lanai is icing on the cake! Can’t wait to return.

Bottom section of house with gorgeous view down mountain overlooking ocean. A 5 minute drive down to community park and beach or take a left and drive 5 more minutes to Two Step beach. (Great snorkeling there if you swim out 300 plus feet). Great communication with owner. Large room. Stove and refrigerator are outside under covered patio area which is great for eating outdoors. Garden below patio has a ton of beautiful flowers and fruit trees.

Rebecca is amazing. Her and her husbands property is located viewing the ocean with great sunset views. The place is very well taken care of. The driveway wasn’t tricky if you follow her instructions, stay to the right, and drive slow. Breakfast was great all homemade by Rebecca using fruits on her property too. Great conversation and company.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Kona Palace. So much so that we ended up extending our stay. The host was very nice and accommodating and always made sure we had what we needed. The views from the lanai are stunning, the bed was comfortable, the huge double shower in the king room was awesome, and the homemade breakfast was very tasty. We did use the hot tub one night which was also great. She does have a small dog on the property but he was in no way a nuisance and was actually fun to play with. Overall we highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and were sorry we were only there for 1 night. The driveway is steep and a little tricky but once there the property, including the room is very nice and the view from the Lanai is simply spectacular. Rebecca is a great host and served up a wonderful breakfast.

Wonderful location overlooking hills and ocean. Particularly we liked the clear view of the stars at night. Tasty breakfast with home grown and local fruits. We met another family also staying there, who are friends of the host, and they were very nice and kindly interacted with my six years old son. We had an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here just one night. Great person to deal with and a very nicely furnished home. What a view, its a little out of that way place that is great for a layed back start for our vacation. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us. Anyone staying here will not be disappointed.

Loved the place. The house is beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable (we stayed in the queen room). There is ac but we just slept with the windows open all night and listened to the frogs. The hot tub looking over the ocean was a treat. Breakfast was great as well, eggs and sausage, toast with lillikoi butter, fresh fruit, coffee. The house was only about 15 minutes from the harbor where we took a snorkeling trip to Captain Cook bay. So nicely located. And made a great launching site to drive up to Volcanos the next day. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

Is it not a good place for more than one night. Don't choose this place. We stayed 6 nights, they didn't change the blankets once, they only changed the bath towels once. There's no privacity. They offer free breakfast. We took it for 2 days, until we saw how she prepares the juice. She squeezes oranges full of mold, we asked her why she does it like that and she said there is not problem, that it does not taste bad and she has always done it that way. The frige that is available is dirty and moldy.Your dog make pee in our room.

Rebecca & Keith were amazing hosts! They gave fantastic suggestions for dining and activities. Their home is welcoming, private, and has stunning ocean views. Rebecca makes delicious breakfasts, with fresh fruit from their property, including freshly squeezed juice. She even gave us each a star fruit to take with us on our day trip! R & K are kind and generous hosts. I feel like we have made lifelong friends. I definitely would return, and recommend this lovely oasis!

A beautiful and serene property with wonderful hosts. Loved the accommodations, breakfast, and visiting with hosts. It was our last night on the island and it could not have been better!

Great B&B! We chose it because we have done the resorts- this was like living the actual Hawaiian life away from the hub but of tourist life. It was quiet and relaxing. Very comfortable bed. Decor was beautiful and made us feel like we were in an Hawaiian home. There are 3 rooms so not crowded. It was nice to get to chat with the other couple there at the time. The owners are very accommodating and caring and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. If you need anything just ask. You can’t beat the wonderful breakfast on the lanai- what a view! Breakfast is fresh OJ and fruit medley all from the surrounding garden as well as eggs, granola and bread of various type - oh and home made jams. Come back after a long day of touring or beaching and relax on the lanai watching the sunset, listening to tree frogs chirping and feeling the cool breeze.
It is away from many tourist things to see and do but doesn’t take long to get Tom some. The road to get there is very winding and steep but you are tucked away and safe there once you get there. We hope to come back.

Beautiful room and home. Comfortable bed. Rural surroundings were lovely as were the views from the lanai. Breakfast was the best! Rebecca was very prompt in responding too us. Highly recommend.

Lovely setting--terrific view from lanai. Pleasant hostess (and dog!), delicious breakfast, spacious and well-decorated room. Yes, the driveway is a bit intimidating, but not a problem if one follows Rebecca's directions. But I have to admit, between the driveway, the twisty road, and the unfamiliar rental car, I would not be comfortable driving back and forth at night (e.g., to go out to dinner). On my one night, I got a good take-out dinner from a local fish place before dark, and ate it on the lanai.

Wonderful all around……contacts, directions, hospitality, gorgeous setting, beautiful home, lovely accomodations. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier.

What a wonderful place to stay! We got there as the sun was ready to set over the water as the beautiful scenery off the patio was perfect. Was out again in the morning to watch the sunrise on the patio. Breakfast was delicious and our host was so accommodating and friendly. Will definitely go and stay again.

Very relaxing stay. Beautiful house and views. King bedroom so comfortable and relaxing. Watch the steep road, just go slow and easy.

Great stay at Kona Palace. Great communication, good breakfast and good views. Host is friendly and puts folks at ease . Good location for activities in south Kona near snorkeling beaches via kayak and Greenwell Coffee farm. Close to Keahou Farmers market (Saturdays) and therefore restaurants in Kalieu-Kona (Magic Sands Restaurant, healthy, on beach but not overpriced). Secluded option over touristy choices in town, a little more work but worth it.
