Kurt was the ultimate tour guide, giving us tips each day and providing anything we needed for our day of exploring (cooler, ice pack, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc.). Kana was an amazing cook. We stayed for 8 days and didn't have the same menu once. Homemade banana bread, macadamia pancakes, avocado baguettes, omelets of various types, tropical fruit galore, yummy Kona coffee, etc. Fruit and coffee from their own property. Some may see the the road to their house as a detriment, however, once you have driven it once it becomes a wonderful jungle experience with pigs, chickens, donkey, and horse as neighbors. The Edge of the World" is appropriately named. The view is magnificent. The frogs, birds and geckos added to the experience.
We stayed on a very hot week, and with no air conditioning, inside was rather hot. Keeping a fan blowing outside air in helped a lot. Staying outside on the lanai also was wonderful. Even on the hottest day it cools down in the evening. Normally no air conditioning would not be an issue. All of Hawai'i is an outdoor experience.

Breakfast was great. Hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. R
Road down to house is a little rocky and challenging, but doable. Great signage to house.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, & the best breakfasts!! Central location for our exploring needs.
Road to property is off grid, definitely an adventure to traverse without a 4x4. But doable
