Het uitzicht is prachtig en Vivienne is aardig en gastvrij.
Op het eerste gezicht lijkt de accommodatie schoon, maar als je beter kijkt is het heel er vies. Op veel plekken wordt niet schoongemaakt. Afzuiging in de badkamer is stuk waardoor er schimmel zit. Er liggen gebruikte zeepjes. Handdoeken zitten vol vlekken. Daarnaast voelt alles een beetje gedateerd aan.

Extremely scenic, quiet and felt remote although it was very close to the center of town and restaurants. No surprises. Guest responsibilities were posted and trip hazards were identified by the host during the individual welcoming orientation.
It took one night to get used to the sounds of the nocturnal creatures.

hard to find from the address. had to put the name of property into google maps. breakfast was poor. leftovers in the fridge. kitchen and bathroom very tired and not that clean.

The Captain Cook Belle Vue was a real surprise for us. The location was great with a stunning (!) view of the ocan 1000 feet below. The hostess/ owner was really nice and helpful. She had great information about recreational ideas for us and took time to give helpful hints.The deck and lawn areas were great for suntanning, relaxing or watching the sun sink into the ocean.
The bathroom and shower are spacious and the internet is great. We also were happy with the grocery store and the restaurants in Captain Cook. It seemed really laid back compared to the hustle of Kona and is far closer to several of the best beachs on the island.
This is a small family business on 4 acres of bautifully land with trees, flowers and birds. For us it was the best B&B find we have had in 15 years coming to Hawaii. We will go back again.

Away from the madness that Ironman brings to Kona
The only issue I had was that Apple Maps advised I was at the location when I was about 300 metres away. Mitigation - pay attention to the location instructions.

Amazing location, with the best views!
Maybe could use a little updating, but then we also liked the down-home feel of this place, which I’d take anyway over a high rise hotel in the tourist area. The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished, and the refrigerator was stocked with custom gluten free breakfast bread and cereal. We were able to use the washer and dryer to launder our clothes before repacking for the trip home.

Loved the views and the ambience! So close to nature as expected
We stayed in orchid suite which could use a lot of cleaning. Breakfast should be made and served ( not just cold milk, cereal and bread in fridge)

The property was on a hill overlooking the beach where Captain Cook landed. The view was breathtaking. Beautiful gardens adorned the property. Quite and peaceful.

. The covered deck was wonderful to enjoy at at all hours. Our host was pleasant and very helpful. Views from the deck were beautiful. Basically we enjoyed our stay because it was easy to get to beaches and other places of interest.
The cereal and toast breakfast could certainly be improved.

We loved all the fresh fruit , breakfast was cold cereal and toast and jam left in the refrigerator.
It would have been better if both burners on the stove worked and the toaster had to be replaced while we were there.

The ocean view is fantastic! Beautiful garden with lots of birds!
The breads are not fresh and it was easy to find some mildew on them. Because of that we dare not to touch rest of the food!

At no fault of the owner, the birds and bugs were very loud at night. We should have brought ear plugs, but the place is paradise.

The host was so welcoming! The room was private and. spacious with a deck that overlooked the lush garden and had a view of the bay. The beds were so comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful view. Room was large and clean.
Very outdated interior. Uncomfortable couch. Toilet didn’t work and there was no plunger. Owner did not provide emergency number. I had to find her on the property after repeatedly calling and emailing. She said “someone” must have stuffed up her toilet. It sounded accusatory.

Location was the only thing that was good. Many tropical fruits and flower plants/trees. Good view from outside the room.
Already used bread and butter. Used soap in the shower. No air conditioner. The table and chairs in front of the room were infested with spiders. I have captured all this in a video. With Covid 19 rampant, I would NOT recommend people to stay in this property. Also, the host insisted on not using sandals inside the room but a glass pierced my foot ( See pics). Oh BTW, do not be surprised if you see insects and geckos here and there inside the property.

The owner/host was a great lady. We enjoyed talking with her. Large rooms with absolutely gorgeous views. Very quiet except for the many birds and tree frogs. Bring ear plugs if noise bothers you at night. Did not bother me.

VIEW and LOCATION, only if you wanna go visit the national volcano park next day.
Property owner Viviane is so friendly and nice. However, 1) The fact is, rooms and beds were NOT clean at all. All covers for bed linen sets, sofas, and cushions smelled sour and funny (like old farm house). My family literally could not sleep at all because of the smell from linens and furniture textiles. We got the impression that maybe due to COVID-19, the house is not well-maintained as done prior to year 2020 and earlier. 2) Too many bugs. Not just hundreds of mosquitos (disenabled us to sit outside) but two of us were bit by centipedes at night. We think the property can improve so much better with overall maintenance and interior upgrades and etc. I don't recommend this property if you prefer clean-cut, modern features.

Vivian gave us a very warm welcome. Our suite was beautiful and we could eat our meals on the lovely patio overlooking the ocean with birds singing and fluttering by. The landscaping and flowering plants were gorgeous. We felt very spoiled to be there and wished we could have stayed longer!

Very nice and comfortable!!! The view is worth the entire price of admission. A good place for a short or long stay, but you will have wished it was a long stay.

The #1 reason to stay at the Belle View is the INCREDIBLE view. In the Rose Garden Suite, you can see the ocean from your bed. Definitely spacious for two. Be sure to take the time to eat on your lanai and sun yourself in the lounge chairs on the lawn.
Breakfast is self-serve/self-made, with cereal, bread, jam, and instant oatmeal provided, as well as soy milk for a non-dairy option.
