This is the second time I have stayed at Santo Cielo. It is an incredible place, the views, the sound when you wake up, being able to disconnect from the city and relax is the best. La Antigua is 5 minutes away and there is much to see.

We had a wonderful stay here. The views from our room were incredible. Truly feels like you’re in the middle of he jungle. Only downside is that check in is a mess, couldn’t find the office and we were driving around all over the Uber unable to clearly find it which was frustrating. Wish it was better indicated. Also our AC wasn’t working. You essentially need an atv driver to drive you everywhere since rooms are so secluded and far from everything but they are on top of it so you just need to call reception when you need to go somewhere.

I liked everything, but during the checkout process at the Santo Domingo hotel, the staff was so unfriendly and ruined my trip. I have visited this place many times, but I think it would be better for the staff at the information desk to learn the basic qualities first as a hotelier.

The property was amazing, it was a different kind of stay because you were in the woods "camping" but with all the amenities of a hotel. The staff was amazing, Nestor who was the one in charge of everything was very friendly and helpful with everything.

The stay was really relaxing, the cabin was extremely comfortable and chill. The cleaning was great and my favorite part was the Hot Tub. It is hot all the time and it had seating for extra comfort. Also the shower had an amazing view of the forest. I think of it as glamping at its finest! Also they have a museum by the restaurant and a small park to walk around that really makes it good. Def worth staying in! Service was great, even though they didn’t had communication about some stuff like the restaurant hours overall we got treated really nice!

Beautiful place to relax, 5 mins driving from downtown Antigua, having own car is a must, or have hotel arrange taxis for your transportation. Walking distance is approximately 45 mins to Antigua.Bring snacks and drinks as food may take as long as 45-60 mins to arrive.
