This is about as no frills as a hotel can get! Just fine if all you need to do is sleep. There are no amenities at all and the room is very small. That said, it was very clean and close to McCormick Place.

This hotel was clean, small and located in a cool unique area. We planned a quick weekend getaway with our two boys. We spent the day at the Field Museum which was an 8-12 minute drive depending in the time of day. Parking garage was close and walking distance. The hotel was located in Chinatown and was a great cultural experience. Walked to a small authentic Chinese restaurant for dinner. Would definitely stay again!

Visited Chicago with my family member for a few days, and enjoyed very much staying in this hotel. It is in a very good location with plenty choices of restaurants nearby. Room is clean and staff very helpful. A 10-min walk to the exhibition center and 3-min walk to CTA station. If you are finding a hotel in downtown area with reasonable price and excellent location, Jaslin is right for you.

The hotel was great to stay at and had all the amenities that hotels should have. Also a great neighborhood to walk around and is close to the Red Line train. The only downside was that the parking was a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

It’s a good value for the price. Cleaning is every other day. Location is within the Chinatown and a walking distance from McCormick Place. The most terrible thing is that they have locked 100$ of my card and still locked till now, even after more than a week from my check out date!!!

Spent about $100+tax on a last minute day-of booking. Room was clean and comfy. Location is excellent, Chicago has a great China town and this hotel is in the perfect spot to explore that.

Staying in Chinatown was perfect for us. Location of jaslin was perfect. A lot of great Asian foods and souvenir shops. We really enjoyed it. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond especially for a 3 star hotel. There isn’t complimentary breakfast but there is a Starbucks right next to the hotel which is always great to have. Exactly what we needed, just a simple clean hotel with a great location.

I enjoyed my stay at what I’ve learned is quite a hidden gem in Chicago’s Chinatown! Less than a five minute walk from the Cermak-Chinatown subway station, the Jasmine Hotel was a convenient, very comfortable, clean and quiet boutique hotel.

Jaslin's location was extremely convenient. Absolutely loved the proximity to public transport. I haven't used public transport in >15 years and was skeptical not renting a car, this location worked perfectly for us. The place is quiet and clean, the staff was very courteous. The rooms aren't sound proof and the house keeping staff walking/talking/cleaning the hallways were clearly heard inside the room. Wasn't a deal breaker but worth mentioning.

Location was perfect. I was in town for conference. Called three days prior to check in to notify that I will arrive early. Price quote was $35. Upon arrival, I was notified a fee of $50. Told to wait in lobby until a specific time to get $35 price quote. Still got billed $50, despite the wait. Not to mention the $100 deposit fee that was not quoted when I spoke with staff. Found a piece of clothing in the room that didn’t belong to me. They did rectify the problem. Only one staff member spoke with respect on the early morning check out. Can’t remember his name. Called approximately two days later to see if items left were available for me to receive via shipment. I was told NO. Six days ago I was notified that the items were available for shipment if still needed. Overall customer service was rated 2. Location was 8. Would think twice to recommend this hotel due to customer service.

We checked out at 5am to get to the train station. My sister needed to use the bathroom when we were in the lobby before our Uber came. The lady at the counter said they didn’t have a bathroom available in their lobby area and left. There were no businesses open and we couldn’t go back to our room. My poor sister had to wait until we got to the train station to use the bathroom there. I have never seen a hotel that didn’t have restrooms available for their paying guests. It was such a shock and inconvenience that I may not stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is simple and modestly sized, but very clean and modern. My room was perfect for one person and I appreciated some of the details like a wardrobe with a clothes iron, as well as an extra blanket and pillow. The bathroom was very new/clean/modern. I also appreciated the key card security, Starbucks next door, and across the street a Walgreens and a lovely little walking courtyard with shops, and Chinese restaurants— Minghin had good drinks and was open late enough on a weeknight for me to meet an old friend. Also, it was an easy 20 minute walk to McCormick Place convention center’s west building, or a very quick Uber. Reasonably priced and a way better deal than staying closer to the convention center. I recommend!

Safe, secure, and clean. Only stayed a night, but I really appreciated the safety of the hotel. I can't really speak to any amenities. Location is great, close to shopping, food, and the train. My only issue was the smell in the hallway. There was an obvious smell of cigarettes, but the room was just fine. I would definitely stay here again.

Real nice property, not the best neighborhood but that's chicago! Lots of restaurants close by, not alot of variety. About a mile to McCormick, 15-20 depending on the lights. Half price of the hotels in that area!

Jaslin Hotel is a gem on the edge of Chinatown. The staff were really helpful, and the amenities for the price point were excellent. The hotel room was comfortable; as a single traveler, I felt at home in this property. The location is within walking distance of McCormick Place.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. Plenty of options for food in close walking distance. Well lit and clean entry to lobby. We felt very at ease in the neighborhood.
