We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.

A great northwoods WI cabin with location being an added bonus. Chequamegon bay is accessible from your doorstep and a short drive will take you to Ashland, Washburn or Bayfield. The cabin was clean, well stocked and beds were comfortable. Great communication with host who also provided excellent information for the area. This served as an excellent basecamp for a ice fishing trip on the bay, sleeping three guys comfortably and I look forward to a return visit with my wife to explore the are communities. Sidenote, signage on HWY 13 also makes the entrance to this location very easy to find.

Very clean and had all supplies. The only downside is in the winter, when we stayed, they didn’t have a grill or fire pit.

Cottage was very clean. Really enjoyed opening the window and spending a slow morning watching the sunrise over Lake Superior after a night around the fire pit. Every thing needed was supplied in the cottage, plus ice cream! Appreciate the single night layover on our way to the Apostle Islands, definitely understand why two of our fellow guests were regulars there
