I try not to complain, but this was by far the worst customer service at a hotel. Like I was bothering her at check in. Maybe she was having a bad day. Usually the staff here is very friendly.

Nice, quiet, clean rooms. They have a really good staff on hand no matter what time you check in. Everyone is really friendly. Nice breakfast every day.

Everything was clean and fine. The breakfast is very fine! The only thing was that a bug (meaning a real insect, like a palmetto bug) was hidden in the Room. We couldn’t catch it…

I enjoyed my stay. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The only thing that I didn’t like was that I didn’t have a microwave in the room. Luckily I had a bottle warmer for my baby bottles.

Highly recommend this hotel! It’s conveniently located. About 10 minutes to downtown and parks. Plenty of shopping nearby. Quiet. Friendly staff. Big, Clean rooms. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Bar and restaurant in hotel, complementary breakfast would rival any restaurant. It was amazing! Definitely stay here if you’re looking for an amazing stay.

This location has been the pick of choice when we go in town to visit our daughter at college. The area is quietly located near the interstate. Thw hotel is clean and always welcoming during check in.

I loved the shampoo, conditioner and body wash that was conveniently mounted in the shower. Also, loved the spacious shower. The room was very nice too and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The janitor/maintenance guy was very attentive and kept the place nice and clean. Would stay at this hotel again if needed.

Out of the frying pan into the fire... literally!
First, it took over an hour to get checked in because the staff didn't know how to use their computer system.
Second, at 2:30 AM an alarm went off and I could smell smoke in the room. Several other guests called experiencing the same issue. The staff completely disregarded this as a safety issue and offered to move me in a room down the hall (same smoke could be smelled there).
I had to beg them to call the fire department. Guests on multiple floors called and complained of the same smoke smell and alarms.
The fire department advised them to evacuate everyone and then came out promptly. They found the smoke was from the rooms poorly cleaned HVACs burning excess lint and debris whwn the heat kicked on on the middle of the night.
The same smoke issue HAPPENED AGAIN in the new room they assigned me and and the fire department had to return yet again!!! I couls see sparks flying out the vent and the entire floor reaked of smoke.
After all that it was 5:30am so I was able to shower and eat breakfast before checking out.
The cherry on top... when I checked out they didn't even offer to refund me for the night. (Much less cover my dry cleaning for my suit covered in smoke) or any form of reconciliation.
Im fighting for a refund now with Hyatt corporate.
If you value your safety... STAY AWAY!!!

Staff was very personable and extremely helpful. We ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant (hot roast beef sandwiches) and it was pretty tasty!. Great outdoor areas to socialize and well-decorated. Complimentary breakfast had great selections.
The only cons were that our room had an awful smell that we were unable to get rid of; toilet was broken and we had to repair it each time we used it; bedding wasn’t comfortable.

I stayed 5 days and room was not serviced 1 time! I had to go to front desk on third day for towels and asked for service. When they showed up next day wife was in shower asked them to come back in 30 minutes. They never did. When i complained to management they said “didn’t you read the sign. there is no service unless requested after Christmas”. I asked what sign and he had to dig inside a cabinet at the front desk to pull out (my X-Ray vision doesn’t work on vacation). Seriously don’t you think someone could have mentioned when i went to get towels, or when i had to go get toilet paper because it ran out! If you are going to run a motel not a hotel, at least put up a notice and change the rates!

We just stop by at 11pm for one night to take a break on our way to Tennessee, the purpose was rest but we got a 2nd floor room (great room) but there was a “party” above us. People was dancing, singing, super loud, I had to ask the front desk to call they’re attention. Also the coffee maker wasn’t work, but we had coffee downstairs before leave early morning. Besides that was ok. Staff are very friendly and the place was decent, vey clean.

We travel often and have stayed at every hotel chain you can think of. We arrivated at Hyatt Place at approximately 1:45 pm to see about checking in. We were aware that check in was at 3pm. The clerk at the front desk stated it would be a 25 dollar early check in fee. She then went on to say our room wasn't ready, however we could pay the fee and check in. I was confused about how a room type we reserved wasnt ready but if we paid a fee it would be ready? Huh? We have NEVER been asked to pay a fee to check in early, ever, at any hotel. I kept questioning the clerk to try and understand then she stated that early check in was for certain tier members. So by this time we had one hour to kill before they would let us check in. We left and came back 10 mintes before check in time and we were told our room wasnt ready. We waited in the lobby and promptly at 3pm the clerk took my creditcard and asked for a phone number i could be reached at so they could text when my room was ready. Needless too say I was very displeased with that. Now it's check in time and my room is not ready. But you want me to pay to check in early? I voiced my displeasure with this whole process to the clerk and she was very apologetic and gave me a different room that was available, which I wish this was an option when we first tried to check in. She did compensate us with 2 free dinner vouchers at their restaurant. The clerk was not the problem. It's Hyatt's policy.

Enjoyed the hotel as well as the continental breakfast. Easy accessible parking and convient to everything including the venue where our event was. The room was the bomb. Looked the shower(bathroom) and even the view was nice.

The room was very nice but it had a stale smell almost like old smoke, which I can’t stand. I had to spray perfume around the room each day to hide the smell. The girl at the desk upon our check in at night was not very friendly, but the gentleman the next couple of days was awesome.

Hotel facilities are pretty nice. Our room smelled like mildew but it was so late when we came in, we just dealt with it. Front desk staff very friendly! Breakfast was average, not sure why they only offered almond milk so my kids wouldn’t eat their cereal. Didn’t offer to get regular milk when we asked. Area felt safe and was efficient checkin and check out.
