The Downtown Hyatt in St. Paul is in the old post office and custom house building. The room we had was enormous with approximately 20 foot high ceilings. The room was very comfortable, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was excellent. They offer a free hot breakfast, which was very good. There is a bar with a limited menu, and there is valet parking. All in all my friend and I were very pleased and we would stay there again.

The lady that checked us in was incredibly rude and had no customer service. A few hours later I went to buy some water n soda, she never said hello and just demanded money. Don’t work in customer service if you can’t even smile or say hello. Will not stay there again.

Great place, great price. The only downside is paid parking, but it is in downtown SP.

Overall hotel was nice. Parking was an absolute nightmare, they only offer valet parking but don’t have enough parking in front of the building to actually utilize it. We had to park across the street at the union depot. I thought our room was nice and clean until I saw copious amounts of bodily fluids all over the sheer curtain covering our window.

This was one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in! Very spacious, great amenities, comfortable bed/pillows.

This is a very nice hotel. Right in downtown St Paul. The rooms are exceptional. Very large with all the amenities. I've stayed here several times in the past 3 months as it was close to where my son lives and Regions hospital where he was being cared for. All staff are friendly and accommodating. We will be returning again.

I never found the hotel, nor the staff, they couldn't help me, horrible area nor a sign indicating the hotel not recommended.

I loved this place! It was clean and comfy and inexpensive for how cool it was. Will definitely be returning!

This downtown hotel is spotless and feels really high end. It is ridiculously spacious and our double queen with sofa bed room was a great size for our family of four. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and the coffee nice and strong. The hotel is very secure and the parking garage across the street is very convenient and reasonable.
I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful hotel, right in the middle of downtown St Paul. Staff was friendly and inviting. Not my first stay, will continue to come back.

Difficult to find entrance of hotel when checking in. Not good signage. Didn’t have spectrum tv channels. Couldn’t watch NFL football. Slow to make sure there was enough food during during breakfast

Terrific hotel with really nice modern rooms in what seems to be an older constructed building. The only downside was no onside parking but the $28 valet with free come and go all day was good. I would stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel to be close to the Christmas Market and the Glow festival, both of them in walking distance to the hotel, pretty safe even during the night.
The staff could be more welcoming and not treating you like they are doing you a favor, other than that the hotel is very clean and looks beautiful

Went to St Paul for a concert, the property was really nice, rooms were clean, beds & pillows were very comfortable, all staff interaction was friendly. They only thing was they didn’t give me a receipt, told me the travel company I booked with would send me a receipt for X amount of dollars but my credit card states an amount on $50.00 higher. Would have liked to have a receipt in hand when I left showing all chargers, either way the property was quiet and beautiful and I’d recommend it to friends.

Valet parking/checkin very inconvenient. Not easy for our if town guests

Quiet hotel within walking distance to Xcel Energy Center.

The breakfast was really low budget, and they ran out of fresh cut fruit and never replaced it. The bartender was didn't know how to mix drinks, so you had to give her recipes even for a white russian. But she was nice, and poured a pretty stiff drink to my delight.

The property itself was very unique because it used to be an old post office or old office bldg. The rooms were a lot larger than expected and the general architecture of the bldg and rooms was very nice. The only issue I found was a brown coffee stain on the bed comforter that I didn't notice until the morning I checked out. I would still stay here again.

Ton's of construction going on. Hotel was completely locked down and no security was seen anywhere when we first arrived. So I walked around the block trying to find a way in even though I had pulled up to the main entry at the "Valet" sign. After finally getting inside we were recommended a couple fast-food places that were supposed to be open 24 hours - but they were closed. So we ate some things from the snack store. Lobby had debris and leaves everywhere but the room was huge and nice enough. Overall the hotel feels kind of dated.

Road construction made it hard to get to but well worth the effort. Cool old post office building repurposed for a hotel.

We had a brief overnight stay, but our room was gorgeous, the floor to ceiling windows were stunning, and we couldn’t get over the size of the room! We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms and building is impressive. Unfortunately I had a really uncomfortable experience with a the staff person checking me in who at best did not seem to understand that hospitality and customer service were part of her job.

Hotel was nice but area was difficult to park.
