My wife and I arrived and found the apartment needed some cleaning. The floor had crumbs and dust on it. We cleaned for an hour. We were staying for 2 weeks, so after cleaning we were good for our 2 week stay.
The next thing was, the queen size bed had no fitted sheet. Instead they use a smaller single size flat sheet which did not cover the mattress completely. Raw mattress with many curly hairs was on it and it
was pretty gross. We vacuumed the mattress and remade the bed using extra sheets we found in the closet to fix the problem.
A large painting which was hung over the bed fell on our heads while we were sleeping because the hook it was hanging on came out of the wall. We did not get hurt. I moved the paint to the living room and put it behind the couch for our own safety.
There were a few other issues, but the upside was it was a complete apartment with a bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and balcony. Once we took care of the the problems it was like having our own home.
