Though our island paradise may look a bit different than it once was, the sun continues to shine each day, bringing with it relaxing beach days, spectacular sunsets and new memories to be made. An easy and convenient beach vacation is all yours at this newly remodeled beach bungalow, located in a quiet residential neighborhood just steps from the white sand beaches and the Gulf of Mexico - you'll have your toes in the sand in minutes! Just south of mid-island, you couldn't ask for a better location if you want the beach, but in a more laid-back manner. You'll be far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax, but close enough to get to the action when you want to! In this 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with just over 700 square feet, your group of up to 6 will enjoy: Open floor plan with main living area combining living room and kitchen, with sliding glass doors opening to the fully screen porch/lanai behind the bungalow Living room has a modular sectional sofa that can accommodate 2 sleeping guests and a ROKU and Hulu streaming TV Beautifully updated kitchen with stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, dinnerware and basic electrical appliances; kitchen counter with barstool seating 2 guest bedrooms, both with queen beds, freshly made for your arrival with provided linens Bathroom with combination bathtub/shower Wall air conditioning units throughout the home Free, unlimited WiFi Bed linens, bath, beach and kitchen towels provided Large screened lanai/porch with living room and dining, ROKU Streaming TV with Hulu Live, self-service gas grill (propane refills, if needed, are the responsibility of the guest), full size washer and dryer Beach gear 2 Kayaks (1 double & 1 single kayak) Four complimentary bicycles (2 adult & 2 children sized bikes) Large gravel driveway and covered carport Public beach access #14 is just a block away from the property. There you will find the Gulf, where you can sun, play, swim, enjoy sunrise runs along the beach, and dazzling sunsets at night. Several beach resorts are currently offering day passes so you can spend a day or two enjoying their pools and other beachfront amenities. Many on-island restaurants/bars have re-opened, food trucks are popping up, and the island's Publix grocery store is now open again - and only .9 miles from the house - great when you've had a long day and out and about and don't a long trek for groceries! When you aren't enjoying the beach, you can drive south off the island to Lover's Key State Park, Bonita Springs, Naples and Marco Island; north off the island you'll find the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Island; you'll also want to visit revitalized downtown Fort Myers - a great spot for dining and nightlife. Fort Myers is also home to multiple public golf courses and the Spring Training facilities of the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox. Nearby Coconut Point and the Miromar Outlets are great shopping and dining destinations; and we can't leave out the tony Waterside shops and 5th Avenue in Naples - fun whether you shop, eat or just look! Take a day to trip to the Florida Everglades for some alligator spotting on an exhilarating airboat ride. And don't miss the Key West Express - where you can take the ferry boat down to Key West for a same-day or overnight say in Florida's southernmost city! This property is approximately 23 miles from RSW International Airport and a walk across the street to Fort Myers Beach. No smoking, including e-cigarettes, cigars, or pipes permitted anywhere on the property; this includes the bungalow and screened back porch. No pets allowed. Minimum age to rent is 25. Please be prepared to show a government issued ID, matching the name the property is booked in, to a representative of the management company or property owner within 24-hours of your check-in. I was looking for a decent place to get away and this place worked great for the price. I travel frequently and I have stayed in expensive 5-start resorts and 1-star dumps. This place is somewhere in the middle of those. Everything was clean and tidy, and I had no issues making myself at home. I was able to use the dishes, silverware and appliances without worry (clean and fresh). I also did a couple loads of laundry without issue. One bed was too soft for me, but the other bed was perfect. The television worked fine, and the internet was quick enough to work remote and have video conferences. Each morning I walked 3-4 miles on the beach to get my sweat on (August). The public beach access is about a half a city block from the house and was super easy to find. I purchased my groceries at the Publix grocery store which was about a half mile away. That allowed me to cook breakfast or lunch and save my eating out for a local establishment. I had a couple great meals on the island and all the people were awesome. I had rented a vehicle and there was a nice driveway with a roof to protect my vehicle and keep it a little cooler. Some locations are within walking distance of the house, but the north end (busy tourist area) would require a bike (there are a couple on the porch) or an Uber/Lyft. I really enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch late in the evening as it was super quiet except for the crickets and fish jumping in the canal right behind the house. I would stay here again!

Amazing place. Perfect for your week away, for vacation or to work away from home. Perfect walk to the beach. Great location for anything you want to do. House is clean and very welcoming. I will be back!

We loved the cute house, and serene backyard! Quick walk to the public beach access, and a nice quiet location! Easy to get to tourist attractions in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, and Sanibel Island.
