House was a little warm for us. We are from Louisiana and are used to high humidity; however, our units run on 65 at night and we keep our house on 70 during the day and that is what we are used to. Phone number for manager is changed or disconnected is what we were told when we tried calling about the house temp of 79. House is beautiful and pool is so nice. The grandkids loved it!! Perfect location. We don’t like it too busy where we stay. Location was just right.

The people made it easy for us to check in we didn’t have any problems with the house for our stay there we loved the pool and how the beach was only a minute drive or 10 minutes walking the rooms were nice and the upstairs living was also amazing because every night we would go up there and watch movies and it fit everyone there the pool was also very big and on my last day there my windshield shattered and they were kind enough to let me stay until safelite repaired my windshield this is a house I’d definitely come back to for the summer

I have stayed at numerous VRBO's over the years and have not once had a problem. I should have known right from the start this owner was going to be difficult, due to pages of rules and constant questions prior to checking in. We took our kids and their friends to stay the weekend, and while we had several teenagers we were never over the people limit. About 1am, one of the teenagers decided to jump the 4 feet from the balcony into the above ground pool. This was a poor decision that was addressed immediately. The group of 4 teenagers were moved back inside. The owner called 20 minutes later and threatened to call the police if we did not vacate the property immediately (at 1:30am). We then cleaned the house and left at 3am, all because we were being watched the entire time and one rule was broken. The owner was also found digging in the trashcans in the carport of the house. I would not recommend staying at this house unless you want to be continuously watched and your trash gone through during your stay. Having to pack up and drive in the middle of the night was unpleasant and dangerous, but we felt threatened by the homeowner and no longer wanted to deal with them. The house was left in the same condition we found it. This homeowner is why people stay in hotels and not VRBO.

This property has lots of potential. We enjoyed our stay overall. It is a beautifully renovated property that I'm sure will eventually get a 5 star rating. The cleanliness issues we had were addressed in a professional and timely manner. The kitchen was not fully stocked with what I would consider essentials (specifically a blender and mixer). If you're planning to grill, be prepared to do it during the daylight as no lighting was available near the grill. Also, be prepared to clean the grill as it was not ready for immediate use. The seating space accommodates 9 guests near the kitchen area (as stated on the listing), so not practical for larger groups. In general, the entire property could use more seating options for larger groups who want to all be in the same space at once. The house was stocked with the basic bathroom necessities including toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and towels. It was great to have access to the washer and dryer including detergent and dryer sheets. Plenty of paper towels were provided as well as dishwasher tabs and dish soap. The property manager was excellent with communication from the time of booking and throughout our stay. We would definitely consider this property again.
