A warm welcome to Barefoot Villas, a unique and enchanting boutique hotel and cabin holiday venue in the heart of British Columbia's picturesque wilderness. Our venue is within a short walk of Christina Lake. It offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Each of our rooms and cabins has been individually decorated, ensuring a one-of-a-kind experience for you. So whether you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a family seeking adventure, or a traveler passing through the area, Barefoot Villas has something for everyone.
Brand new JACUZZI just adding to these Cabin in between Cabin 1 & 2. The cabin is deal for either for families, or couple for romantic gateway, work or business related, honeymooner, anniversary and stay for winter wonderland with us. Cabin 1 Beaver is set in a quiet corner, with two bedrooms it’s spacious and inviting. Spacious kitchen, the bathroom includes toilet, sink, bath and shower. Outside you have your own private veranda with a picnic table and BBQ for those relaxing and private moments with a glass of something in your hand. Please join us for a unique and cozy experience in the middle of the wilderness of Christina Lake. We have outdoor fire pit and chair for the winter time to enjoy.
Our location provides the perfect setting for various activities, both in the winter and summer months. From skiing and snowboarding to hiking and water sports, there's always a supply of things to do and see at Barefoot Villas. CHRISTINA LAKE & BEACH
Christina Lake is legendary for its warm, clean water and sandy beaches, making it a firm favorite with swimmers, boaters, jet-skiers and those wanting to relax whilst gazing over the clear calm blue waters. The provincial park has beautiful beaches, picnic areas and shady grove trees for those who like to be outside, but shaded. the shallow waters stretch out a good distance offering ideal wading for younger children; and for those more adventurous, there are plenty of areas for more energetic swimming. Long summer days and excellent temperatures ensure warm lake waters and a wonderful time for all.
KINGSLEY BEACH
Kingsley beach is a historical area, at the end of Kingsley Road, just off of Highway #3, this beautiful beach and area continues to bring generations of families to relive their summertime memories and create new ones with their loved ones.
CHRISTINA CREEK
Christina Creek is the perfect beach to enjoy swimming and summer activities. Located along Christina Creek Trail, with shady areas, a great escape on those hot summer days with beautiful scenic views , a wonderful area to hike, take a stroll on the beach, swim or kayak and immerse yourself in the beautiful nature around.
BIKING TRAILS
Why not start your biking holiday with the Fife to Cascade trail, or one of the 20+ other trails? Immerse yourself in all that the scenery has to offer and feel the sun on your face. Feel the clean pine-scented wind as you look down on the lake and winding river. On the ride back along the pebbled trail you will be exported by the roar of rushing water being funneled and forced through the narrow Cascade Gorge, where it thunders down several powerful waterfalls. This is just one of the many trails to be found whilst staying at Barefoot Villas.
FISHING
A well-kept secret is the great Bass fishing at Christina Lake. Start as early as May and catch both large and small mouth Bass. The season closes in September, so catch a fish and a bargain and book early. Not just bass, Christina Lake has fishing for everyone and for all seasons. Why stop having fun in winter? Come and stay to ice fish, or at other times of the year, for fly fishing, casting, or trolling. Christina Lake and the surrounding area is the place for you! For the best large Rainbow Trout, come in March and April. Test or improve your skills to catch 5-15 pound fish, either by trolling a plug or bucktail fly. May and June are the best months for catching Kokanee, which range up to 1½ pounds and bite on spinners, flies, and live bait (maggots and worms). Other species include Mountain, Prickly Sculpin, Slimy Sculpin, Whitefish, Northern Pikeminnow and Carp.

Straight forward to book and quick communication responding
Better than hotels as you had your own bbq, modern updates and new ac unit kept the temperature nice as it was +40°

Cabin is nice, beds are comfortable, TV is set too high on the wall. Property location was close to the ice cream shop which our kids loved The beach access was a short walk away but small as it’s stuck between beach houses at the end of the road. We didn’t use that beach as we drove to the public beach much bigger. The deck in front of the cabin is excellent for a large group lots of seating. Picnic table is shaky, and BBQ is small.
We would stay here again as it’s nice little cabin and was perfect for our 2 night stay.

Having never been to Christina Lake we had no idea where to stay. We chose the Parkside Motel based on location and price.
Our room was recently updated and super clean! Everything we needed was there. All the kitchen items were pretty new and we loved our little patio.
Only a 6 minute drive to the provincial beach.
Thanks for a great family vacation.
