We usually stay at your usual chain hotels, but for a change, we decided to try out a B&B, the Equinox Inn. It was fantastic! Unlike a chain, a B&B is dependent on the hosts, and Keith and Darrin were wonderful. They really made us feel at home. Their property is charming, even considering that it was freezing and icy that day. In the springtime, it would be even better. If you're in the San Antonio or Austin areas, Equinox is a perfect place to stay, smack dab in the middle of both, with two hosts who can give you great advice about the area. Strongly recommended.

We travel a LOT! This is one of the overall nicest, friendliest, most comfortable places we’ve ever stayed. Just amazing. The hosts couldn’t be better with their hospitality. Highly recommend!

The Equinox is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! We stayed in the Stargazer Room which was quite spacious and had a balcony with a stunning lake view. Darrin was simply a joy and provided exquisite hospitality. The breakfasts were scrumptious! Wildlife frequents the property and it’s unbelievably peaceful. Perfect place to go and unplug if you need to, or get away for some quiet work or writing. We will definitely go back!

Loved the deer in the yard! Breakfasts were outstanding with special appreciation for special dietary needs. Had car trouble and innkeeper was very helpful with providing info about local repair shops and suggesting that we could stay past the checkout time if we needed to. Very attentive and conscientious innkeepers. Very clean place, but wish they had worn masks.

This was by far the best B&B stay we have ever had. Darin & Keith made it feel like we were visiting family. The room was excellent, the food was great, and there was absolutely nothing I would change!

We simply loved the stay at Equinox Inn at Biscuit Hill. We used a free stay from Hotels.com for a getaway for our Anniversary. The couple running Equinox Inn greeted us at the door, showed us around the place, and suggested restaurants in the local area for us. The massage therapist on staff was excellent. Highly recommend!

The property was unique for me because I've never been so close to deer. We could actually feed some of them by hand. It was close to everything we wanted to do.

The Lone Star Room had the charm of a B&B but offered more privacy. We had our own entry with a privacy porch with hot tub. Another deck offered us a great view of the stars and allowed us to observe the deer, fox and road runners. Our "guard" fox sat 20 yards away and never left until we went to bed. Breakfast was exceptional and served to accommodate our schedule.

My daughter and I so enjoyed our friendly visit with the wonderful inn keepers! The place was beautiful and our room was super comfy and pretty! So many nice extra touches in the room! The breakfast was amazing! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful spot with fantastic rooms. Fireplaces and a hot tub, super comfortable bed and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The couple who run the inn are lovely and kind hosts. I look forward to being able to stay here again.
