The owner of Beluck is super friendly and shared a lot of local insights.
Beluck is a great place to stay in Luye, the enviroment is just as shown on the photos you see on the website.
I booked a room for 6 pax in the morning of the check-in date, called the owner I will reach there in the evening after normal check-in time. She said at long as I call them early to inform them for late check-in should be fine.
We reached at night and the owner couple still greet us nicely and introduce the amenties throughly.
The next day we woke up with a full table of warmly cooked breakfast waiting for us in the lobby. Glutenous corns, eggs, carrot cakes, edamames, pears and homemade iced black tea.. not sure if organic but looks like freshly picked from farm.
We booked the rooms for 2 nights, was expecting the owner to prepare the same menu for us the second morning. Surprisingly, they specially made for my family another menu that were different from other groups we met in the lobby. Baked sweet potatoes, Taiwanese sausages, famous Hualien watermelon... I were lucky enough, without any special request, that there's nothing I cannot eat since I'm on gluten free diet.
During our stay there, we travelled to several places with the owners' recommendations. We used the voucher from the owner to rent the electronic bycicle at the Mr Brown Avenue. Visited the well-known Chishang Bento restaturant, Fuli Farmers' Association Park, and one restaurant that is renowned for large pork bone noodles.
