What a pleasant surprise. This place is not your run of the mill bed and breakfast. Not gonna lie - we were a little hesitant when we first saw it from the highway BUT how wrong we were. Lovely staff and just enough quirk to make it memorable.

Really clean room, very friendly and helpful innkeepers. The only downside was our bed wasn’t super comfortable. Great option when you're out in the desert!

The owner and staff were wonderful. Room was theme and very nice. It was out in the county quite and right off hwy. Would recomend to anyone for get-away.

My sister and I stayed here for our visit to Death Valley. We loved this eclectic and fun property. We were served excellent breakfasts and enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts. Jennifer, Paul and Nigel were so helpful and kind. We hated to say goodbye at the end of our stay.

This bed and breakfast was wonderful! The host was excellent and offered suggestions for my trip to Death Valley. It is in a remote location but offers beautiful views of the sky and is very peaceful.

Me and my partner were exhausted when we checked in after a long drive, we were quickly set up so that we could rest. The room was comfortable, clean and had all the necessities that you could hope for. We slept incredibly well and it was exactly what we needed after the drive. From the moment we step foot in the door we were made the feel welcome. We were shown around and had everything explained to us so that we could relax without worrying about anything. Extremely friendly, attentive and hospitable. We were also offered drinks by the fire, which had we not been so exhausted we would have absolutely loved! When we awoke the next morning we were in a bit of a rush so I was given my breakfast to go, which was beautiful and started my day off perfectly. I cannot recommend this place enough and I only wish we could have stayed longer! If we find ourselves in the area again, this is the first place we will go!

Shady Lady B & B is 101 miles North of Las Vegas on the way to Reno. So in the middle of nowhere. Full of Peacocks and amazing Stars at night. Comfortable, safe, and interesting place to stay. I recommend staying at the Shady Lady Bed & Breakfast at Mile post 92. I did not stay for their breakfast, but I did hear from another guest that it was very good. I will definitely stay at the Shady Lady B & B again.

This is a unique place. It's miles from nowhere in a beautiful stretch of desert. Jennifer and Nigel are wonderful hosts and animal lovers. There's a large flock of peacocks in residence that were surprisingly reserved and silent at the time we visited. There were also a goat, and a rescued cat and dog who were all similarly well behaved. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ham and eggs with toast and fruit, all freshly cooked. We would definitely stay here again.

The lady was the best! Breakfast was great! She upgraded my room! However the heat didn't get turned on till the morning unless i was mistaken, i felt cold all night, she was so nice to me i didn't want to say anything

This B&B was a delight to stay at. The staff were wonderful and willing to go the extra mile for us if we needed anything. Breakfast was wonderful AND they even made a little plate for our pup. Lovely lovely people and stay.

It is sure a very unique place. If you love animals you will love this place. There is Peacocks and several other animals. The hosts of the Hotel do everything to make you feel at home from the very first Minute you arrive. The Breakfast and coffee is very good. We took one of the Standard rooms. The room is very small and the bed was too narrow for 2 adults. But for one night it was ok. The price is acceptable. We definetely reccommend this place. Just be aware, that there is absolutly nothing to do in the area around accept for visiting the Death Valley, if Its Open. But dont worry the Hosts wont let you get bored.

It was an amazing stay. A unique Oasis in the middle of nowhere. Jennifer and Nigel are really friendly and it was an amazing night with some beers. You can see the beautiful milky way in the night. I can highly recommend this place. And if we have the chance we will come back for sure.

What a gorgeous and peaceful place to stay - the hosts are so super friendly and helpful, very neat rooms, kitchen facility, clean private bathroom and lots of gorgeous peacocks in the garden - it was so amazing and peaceful to watch them wondering around. Overall fantastic mountain scenery at horizon.

Jennifer and Nigel made us feel right at home. The glass of wine in the early eve, the great breakfast, we’re special touches. The property is unique and so cool. The peacocks are beautiful as is the view of Area 51. Wes stay there again for sure!

Coming throught the Neveda desert we passed the town of Beatty and 32 miles out is the Shady Lady! It was dark outside as we turned in but the warm and inviting welcome we recieved from Jennifer and Nigel was like ray of sunshine. We sat on the porch and got to know them before heading to our wonderful cabin. We recieved a wonderful upgrade from our room to a cabin with gorgeous furnishings and spectacular views plus lots of peacocks roaming outside. The pool was inviting and a nice place to sit and type this review. Breakfast was delicious and served by 2 interesting smiling people that we got to share travels with.I would highly recommend this as a must stop whenever near Beatty NV

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast! Friendly staff, great breakfast, pool was just outside our cabin, the cabin was clean & spacious, and the view was beautiful! I would DEFINITELY recommend this Bed & Breakfast to ANYONE who stays in Beatty, I wished we could have stayed longer! Though we did extend our stay another day just because we LOVED IT so much! A definite 5 Star Rating from this well traveled gal!
