The hotel is in a great location.
Good standard and very clean.
View from bedroom ( 212) not so good as looks onto air conditioning units.
Pool and bar area on top floor great views of the bay.
Our stay was marred by the disrespect shown to us by Alejandro the team leader of the restaurant due to an overbooking incident.

The hotel and staff are great but if you have a double room on the weekend you are subject to dance music from a local club until 2 am. The hotel should either hand out ear plugs or start calling the cops on their neighbors at midnight because we are exhausted.

Lovely stay at Mr C, the room was lovely and the view great. My only complaint would be the noise on the first night due to a party taking place in the hotel.

This hotel is a gem! Boutique style with excellent European service. Every employee was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant Bellini was fantastic and picturesque with its Bay view. The rooms were well appointed with nice amenities too. Aside from low water pressure in the shower, it was about as perfect as it could be. Thank you Mr C, we’ll be back!

It is conveniently located in the center of Coconut Grove. Excellent service and a rooftop restaurant next to the swimming pool. The gym is rather small.

What I didn’t like:
I did a reservation over the phone and pick up the room’s key at the reception.- My room was for handicapped people.
I requested a change of room.
We could not have dinner at the restaurant on the fifth floor…..
The hotel is Beautiful.
PS It was our 34 anniversary

Excellent charming art deco boutique hotel that manages to be classy yet comfortable and welcoming at the same time! Staff attention is outstanding and the facilities are well maintained and accessible.

I have been staying here multiple times each year while my daughter has been at the University of Miami. The property is immaculate, the rooms, perfect, and the location is central to everything in Coconut Grove. As good as it gets.

This hotel is a great location. A bit pricey for the size of the room. Staff was friendly, service was great and Bellinis restaurant has fantastic service and food.

Wonderful stay. Everything was on par for a 5 star experience with a few minor exceptions which made this a 4/5 for me. Chiefly; the fitness center needs a severe upgrade, in room dining options are not on par with brand level, and most importantly the old white guy bartending at Bellini needs an immediate intervention (his clearly losing…. his over the top sassy attitude is unbearable).

The front desk staff is very gracious and attentive. As are the bakers and housekeepers. The good at the restaurant is delicious.

Boutique hotel . Staff not well trained and awkward

We stayed in the worst room in the hotel. Room 220. It is by the elevator and service door. Everytime staff went through the door is slammed and shook the room. It is right above the gym. People work out at all hours. Midnight, 2 am, 7 am. The weights get slammed around and shake the room. The view? Overlooking the dumpster. Staff seemed oblivious when we inquired about the booming sounds the sounded like bowling balls dropping on the floor. They had to know our proximity to the gym but we discovered on our own where the sound and shaking room was coming from. If you stay here, beware room 220.

I needed to change my dates in spite of having made a no cancellation or changes booking. I dealt with a Hotels.com “virtual agent” online who promised to get back to me soon. I waited a couple of days and then chased him/her/it several times but to no avail. In desperation I contacted the hotel direct and they couldn’t have been more helpful, replying immediately that they would Honors my new request to stay only two nights instead of the original five. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The room wasn’t very big and we were loaded with luggage prior to a very lengthy cruise so had to leave open suitcases all over the floor. When we returned from our first morning out the maid had brought luggage racks and lifted the heavy cases onto them. My only criticism would be that there was no tea or coffee aching in the room, though there is complimentary coffee and muffins in the lobby till 9am. Not enough to make me give MR C a 4 rather than a well deserved 5!
