Place is amazing!! Really clean and well located! 7 min walk to ferry to go to Downtown Halifax. Cash only! We could hear the upstairs neighbours a little in the evening. I would recommend to anyone that wants to feel like home!

Great location. Close to the Halifax bridge and ferry. Restaurants and shopping were also very close. It was very comfortable and free parking space. The bed was super comfortable and it was clean.

Rooms are comfortable and have everything one or two people need for a night in downtown Dartmouth. The ferry terminal is a 15 minute walk away, so a night in Halifax is just as easy.

This is an interesting Dartmouth neighbourhood, with a view of the harbour as you walk out the door. With the stove top, microwave, and fridge, I was all set for my stay. Also, if you're looking to go to Halifax for a side visit, this property is a short walk to the ferry, which will take you across the harbour.

We enjoyed our stay at Windmill Walk. It was a great location for walking, ferry and pathways. The space was clean and neat. Communication with the owner was prompt. We will be keeping this location in mind for future stays in Dartmouth.

Easy check in. Andy would text you and meet you at your time of arrival. Very clean and spacious, with the amenities of home. Very easy access to the Halifax waterfront, citadel and museums. There is a ferry ten minute walk that takes you across to downtown Halifax. Inexpensive and scenic. If you want to drive, it is very close to the bridge downtown.

The unit itself was nice, well appointed. Bed has been very used and was uncomfortable. Traveling solo and as a woman, I did not feel 100% secure. The front door which is the only door with a lock on it is fully exposed to anyone outside. A window covering on the front door would add another layer of security. As well, another lock on the internal door leading to the front would being added comfort. There should be operating hours for the laundry room as my last night resulting in interrupted sleep in to close to 2am since the laundry room was directly under my unit. I could hear the banging of the machine clearly. Nice place but could be even better with a few adjustments.

Very convenient to the ferry and Halifax, this charming property feels snug and offers all the comforts. If getting around by foot, there is a steep incline to negotiate and you’ll be passing the neighborhood “characters”. I had no problems of any sort but be aware.

Took the ferry to Halifax 5 minutes walk from room . Lots to do and eating establishments. Did not have to worry about parking. Not a fan of window air con. A bit noisy. Every thing else was great

A fantastic location only a 5-minute walk away from the ferry in Dartmouth. The actual stay is cozy and and has all the amenities you’d need to make your stay comfortable. Would recommend.

I have travelled a fair amount and without doubt, this is one of the best places I have stayed. Host Andy provided everything within the condo one would need for a great week. I will definitely stay there again for my once a year trip to the area.

I liked the property; however, had the weather stayed warm, I wouldnt have liked it. We were fortunate that the nights were cool but the place was warm when we returned from our day trips. Consider a window a/c unit.

was in town for hospital thing and was looking for a quiet clean stay relatively near the hospital, and this fit the bill to a T ! , stellar communication for the check-in from "Andy" the host made it quick and simple , the room was super clean and probably one of the better equipped suites I've been in , very quiet area and building , wifi was fast , stellar water pressure and nice n hot water . Super convenient area also and the off street parking right out front of the suite was a huge bonus didn't have to lug all my stuff up an elevator and down a hall like a hotel . Ive travelled alot.. and stayed in alot of different airbnbs and hotels , don't hesitate to book this one.

The unit we had was really nice for one or two people. Very clean and well stocked. Only had one issue with the wi-fi not connecting, but not a big deal. The unit in the photos on Expedia were not of the unit I was given which was a bit disappointing. Our unit was much smaller.

The property was in a great location. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Ferry Terminal,and a 5 minute walk to the bus terminal. I ended up not renting a car because it was so close to the bus terminal, which even had a bus that went to the airport. The apartment was clean, and very comfortable. It had everything I needed. The owner sent a text message (including pictures) clearly explaining the lock box for check in and check out. I found it quiet and slept well. It was exactly as described, and had everything I needed. So much better than renting a hotel room.
