the location is superb and although above a busy square, not noisy we found - sleep was generally great.
Being English and used to these things, some way of making a drink in the room is always great and guess we'd hoped that might be available even though I dare say not specified.

A small, clean 2-star hotel right in the centre of Strasbourg. The rooms are compact and very basic, but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay: a decent bed, full-length mirror, hairdryer and shower.
The hotel itself is tiny, but the location more than makes up for it — you literally step out straight onto a beautiful little square. If you can, book a room overlooking the square; we stayed in Room 202 and really enjoyed the view.
It’s around a 15–20 minute walk from Strasbourg train station, and there’s also a direct train connection to Strasbourg Airport, making it very convenient for a short break.
Overall, this is a perfect little pied-à-terre for a weekend in Strasbourg. The location is fantastic, and it’s also a great base for visiting the neighbouring fairytale villages of Colmar and Riquewihr. No frills, but comfortable, clean and wonderfully located.
There is no lift and the hotel has three floors, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns.
The only downside for me was the carpet, as I’m not particularly fond of carpet in hotel rooms and find it can give the room a slightly less hygienic feel. That said, everything else was clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay.

Excellent location in the town centre and perfect for one night stopover.
Not as clean as it could be, there were cobwebs on the light fitting and stains on the bottom bed valance.
