Jump into your car and make short work of the 6-minute drive to Sombrero Beach or the 2-minute drive to Crane Point Museum and Nature Center (and enjoy the property's convenient uncovered onsite parking in the meantime). Spend a day at the nearby beach, relax by the outdoor pool, or sip a drink on the deck or patio of this vacation home, which also features a dock. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV. As you settle into the place, you'll find a sitting area, a dining area, and air conditioning. Bathroom amenities include free toiletries, towels, and toilet paper. The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, and a freezer, as well as a coffee maker, a microwave, and cookware. Staying on a house boat was lots of fun. I loved being right on the water and having a beautiful view. The loft bed was a hit and unexpected surprise. The rooms don't have a lot of space around the beds, but the kitchen/living area was roomy. Would definitely come back!

This was one of the more unique venues I’ve had the pleasure to stay at. A houseboat hotel. Four adults and a pup and we had plenty of room. Very nice pool and small ‘beach’side area. Gorgeous sunsets, peaceful and quiet. If you are up for something a little more adventurous than another hotel room, look into the Aqua Lodges!!

These are very small units. Showers are tiny. My husband and I are not big people. I’m 117 lbs. he’s 150.

Wasn’t what we expected. The “houses” were very close together with no privacy on the decks. The bathroom entrance in the middle of the bedroom was an inconvenience for everyone at night.

We completely enjoyed our stay at Aqua Lodges. Staff was friendly and helpful, accommodations were clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

The units were a bit closer together than what's pictured here but otherwise accurate. The lodge was well-equipped and very clean and comfortable. The motion was barely noticeable. Our dogs were with us and they weren't bothered at all by it. There were plenty of areas to walk them.

It was really cool staying in a houseboat. We had a beautiful view to the lagoon from the porch in the back. It’s a memorabie experience. The office also provides free bikes and kayaks for water activities. The unit was very cozy. I liked it a lot although my husband felt it was a bit cramped for him.

Super cute accommodations in a house boat. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked with all we needed for food prep. We enjoyed the kayaks too, and the peaceful setting. Highly recommend!

We LOVED the Aqua Lodge. My only suggestions of improvements would be to add a full length mirror and a more comfortable couch. The couch is horrible. Otherwise, we highly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay with Aqualodge. Management was awesome! Aqualodges were very nice and clean. View was beautiful! We plan on returning next year!

We had an amazing stay. Everything was just as described and the staff very accommodating and friendly. Jim the maintenance guy was Johnny on the spot with repairs. our unit had just been placed and was hitting the dock but he installed additional bumpers and we had no further issues. Sunsets on the beach area were beautiful. Besides the occasional air traffic from the Airport it was peaceful and breezy. If we ever go back that way we would definitely stay again.

They over booked and we were sent to a different marina, there was nothing at that marina besides boats. It was quiet but there was nothing to do. The house boat itself was dirty and dusty.

The stay was great. Most beautiful sunset at the end of the cove. Clean and roomy lodge. Would recommend. Only few minor downfalls. Hearing neighbors at all hours because how close each lodge is. Also, the back porch has no privacy and little awkward when everyone’s out at the same time.

Fantastic place. Spotlessly clean. Lovely view. Quiet location. Staff were nice. Beach a short drive or cycle away. Lots of places to eat and groceries in the area.
Bonus: free kayaks, nice clean pool, free grills to cook on, bikes
Downsides: no complimentary coffee

Nice boat house. Quite and stable. There is balcony at back of boat and you can enjoy the breeze in the evening.

Nice house boat. We ended up seeing a sting ray, jellyfish and dolphins from our deck. This is a boat so keep in mind the restroom doesn’t have normal plumbing and there isn’t a ton of room to move around in the sleeping rooms. Neither affected our stay for a party of 3.

We absolutely adored our stay at the aqua lodges! It’s a great choice for a family vacation, a romantic stay, or friends to have a good time. We fished off the back of the boat and caught a variety of different fish, spotted manatees across the way, and we felt safe and relaxed during our trip. We’d love to stay there again.
