Fantasic location, after arriving we looked at all the holiday parks in the Port Stephens area, this being, in our opinion the best by far. Easy walking distance to the nearby restaurant and bistro, with others within a 5 minute drive. Also close to the small but adequate shopping strip. Lovely hosts which allowed us a late check out time. Would not hesitate to stay again.

The location, surrounding restaurants, and evening sunsets
There are no bathrooms or toilets in the glam tents which was a drawback for us, having to travel approximately 50 metres to the shared bathroom/toilet at night is challenging-and that’s with perfect weather. Also, you’re required to leave your vehicle away from the campsite as it’s sacred Aboriginal land making loading and unloading arduous. You’re required to take your rubbish with you or penalties apply. No late check outs. Finally there are literally hundreds of cockatoos making a cacophony of sounds at the crack of dawn which isn’t an issue if you’re an early riser. All of this for $200 per night!
