The staff were so nice and helpful! They always did their best to answer my questions as much as possible, even using google translate. There were more complimentary services than I would have expected and it really felt like a relaxing retreat.
It is not the fault of the inn themselves, but other guests were rather noisy in areas meant to be quiet, specifically the meditation spa vs the regular spa. There were posting, but they were not super obvious so I'm sure people missed them. It was not only foreigners, as there were loud conversations from guests in Japanese as well. I don't think it's clear to all guests what is the purpose of the different sides.
