The location
Incredibly noisy at night, from the street and from the other rooms (thin walls and impolite guests)

This is a VERY Basic hostel. My room had 5 bunks (10 beds) which seemed common. No curtains on beds. Small lockers. I was here for a week.
There are private rooms for small groups. No individual rooms. In case of fire this would be a very dangerous building as there’s only one exit door on the ground floor for a 3 story building. Bathrooms only on second and third floors. No bathroom on ground floor.
Good:
Location—near el centro, near 2 Metro stops, restaurants and lots of shopping. Fairly clean. Front desk is Staffed 24 hours.
bad—No soap or towels in bathroom. VERY Often no toilet paper. Most bathroom stalls in the ladies bathrooms are locked, not useable.
Can only shower from 6a-11a.
Can’t wash clothes in sink.
Kitchen closes in afternoon—they turn off the gas to stove, though there is a microwave.
Cleaning ladies are VERY surly.
Wastebaskets are overflowing , but they use tiny baskets, so it’s no wonder.
The cafe doesn’t have coffee.
I took 2 tours from their Amigo Tour desk and was given misinformation for both. Wouldn’t use again.

Poor ventilation. No windows in most rooms. Vents to hallways means it’s noisy.
