Samari Spa Resort

The staff were very good in check in, check out and in fulfilling our requirements. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was excellent and the towels were in good condition. Breakfast was good. Internet is acceptable.

The room was a bit noisy. I can hear people talking outside the room. Also the bathroom door makes a lot of noise when used. This is important for sensitive sleepers. Also the room transmit light from the roof windows when sunlight starts at 6:00 am. Location is within a 15 minutes walking distance to the lovely and beautiful downtown.

Alojamiento histórico con instalaciones muy amplias, los edificios son muy bonitos y están bien cuidados, los jardines son preciosos. Habitación amplia con cama muy grande y cómoda. Desayuno muy abundante y variado. Dispone de spa en el mismo hotel incluido en el precio.

La habitación resulta algo fría y húmeda, se agradecería alguna estufa. En el spa le faltan detalles de mantenimiento, por ejemplo la puerta de la sauna no cierra bien. Informé de mis alergias alimentarias al llegar pero al segundo día ya se olvidaron de ellas y me sirvieron fruta que no podía tomar, deberían ser más cuidadosos con temas delicados como ese.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel has an authentic charm, with high-quality materials and excellent maintenance throughout. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well finished. The beautifully landscaped gardens create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and are one of the hotel’s highlights. The spa and the other facilities are excellent, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. The restaurant is outstanding, with excellent service and delicious cuisine. Breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. The restaurant’s dishes are beautifully presented and are the perfect showcase of Ecuador’s rich and diverse gastronomy. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

The curtains were made of good-quality material and provided good privacy, although the curtain system could use a minor adjustment to close perfectly.

completely outdated hardware, bathrooms appear to be some 40 or more years old. Owner needs to urgently invest in the property. staff was very nice and helpful as everywhere in Ecuador
