Loved the location, right on the river, a 15 minute walk to town. Loved the dogs, cats and goats (I think they're goats?? They're huge!) Johan and staff were amazing, super helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed 4 nights, wish it was more!

Quiet location away but close enough from bustling city center and the river views. Basic but comfortable accommodations, plenty of hot water for shower, delicious and varied breakfast, friendly and very accommodating staff.
A little more on the basic and rustic side than I was expecting, especially bathroom.

A bit further from the center but really not too bad paying for 1-2 US to get there. Beware of weekends where taxis are limited.

The guy who checked-in us was very nice and provided a bunch of information about what to do around Baños. He sent it all via WhatsApp with many details. The communal area wasn’t big but had a snooker and foosball table for kids which our kids loved. Breakfast was ok, with eggs and pancakes/tortillas. Overall environment was relaxed and chilled. They let guests park the car inside the property. Room was clean. The breakfast area can be used by guests to prepare meals.
The building is not well maintained. To access it you need to cross a patio that stinks. The smell to cat and dog pee and poo is strong. We love cats and dogs and have nothing against them around but it really turned us off that to access the reception you see dog poo on the patio and have to bear a terrible smell. It was disgusting. One of the taps in our shower was broken and the shower curtain is stained and doesn’t look clean. Overall we felt the maintenance was completely off. We wouldn’t return to this place.
