The apartment is located on a bustling street that is full of locals and has everything you need-restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, and brief walks to the Metro. We used the Metro to get to all over Paris with ease. Chartier restaurant is across the street but only go if the line isn’t long-the food isn’t that great but it’s an icon, so go if it’s not inconvenient. We had great communication with the owners and the property manager lives in the building. Very spacious apartment with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The apartment had everything we could need, including a wonderful bakery steps away from the front door. Centrally located, comfortable, and cozy!

Nice older building renovated. Perhaps one of the hottest weeks at the end of summer. A/C was advertised in the description. One portable unit in one bedroom that continuously
malfunctioned. The temperature in the apartment was in the 80s and above for most of the week. We emailed the owner, but he explained that the laws kept them from adding A/C to the building. That wasn't the issue; the unit didn't work! The manager, who speaks English, wasn't present when we arrived. Her sister, who spoke little English, let us in. It appeared that the apartment hadn't been checked. Shampoo bottles were nearly empty, for example. A fan for the second bedroom was damaged and made difficult to use. Advertised as two bath, but the second was a tight shower alcove with a mini sink. The toilet in the complete bathroom was stained with rust. When we finally made contact with the manager, she came by and was very nice, acknowledging the problems. The owners seem like a decent couple, but these shortcomings should have been addressed before we arrived. As it was, we could have been harmed by the excessive heat. The primary reason we rented this property was because of it's having A/C, as we thought of the real possibility that the weather could be quite warm in early September.

The location of the apartment is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere. As stated by other guests, since the apartment is located on a busy street it is a bit noisy but nothing dramatic.
The size of the apartment was really good for our family of 4. The apartment is very cute.
The only recommendation I could make is for the owner to leave more toiletries, I did had to go and buy a couple of things. Also the floors in the half bathroom could be cleaned better.
Our stay was perfect, we enjoyed the charming apartment and the location. I would stay here again.

This was a nice spacious apartment for the 4 of us. Communication with the owner was amazing, Joelle really reached out to make sure everything was good. The air conditioning in the bedroom was great as well as the fans, we slept very well for the end of July. Metro was just down the block. Got to see all the major attractions without any problems. Thanks for a great stay!

This property was perfect for our visit. It was simplely layed out and had many amenities in the area.

Charming, clean, well-stocked apt convenient to multiple Metro stops. Building includes a small elevator. Fun neighborhood. Solicitous owners and very helpful onsite manager.

My family, and I had an amazing time staying at this beautiful apartment in Paris! Reasonably priced, clean, accommodating, and very friendly owners. Apartment had everything we needed, very close to metro stations, and lots of restaurants, bakeries, and little grocery stores nearby. We will definitely be back!

This was our 4th apartment stay in Paris, so we are very aware of what can be found. This time we were planning to travel with other adults so wanted to get more space. The living area is a good size. The location is OK. there are lots of restaurants and things to walk to but if you want to be central look around the river. The front bedroom IS noisy in the morning when service vehicles are on the street. The cutlery, crockery and glasses are odds and sods. The kitchen does not match the photo. not wooden top with overhead cupboard. The 2 bathroom description is not correct there is; bathroom 1, over bath shower and sink the other "bathroom " is a toilet and hand basin. There other issues but I would not recommend this apartment until the description is adjusted and they bring it back up to a nice standard (decent glasses, crockey etc. Tea towels instead of paper towel in the kitchen and light bulbs in all the lamps)

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was fantastic with lots of restaurants and shops right on the doorstep. The apartment was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our short stay.
The hosts we're really helpful and kept in contact during our stay.

My mum and I had a fantastic stay at this property in October 2022. The owners were very responsive, providing all the information we needed for our stay and responding to my questions quickly. Place is well equipped for a basic city break, comfortable and in an excellent location. We walked from the station, and could walk to the river easily. Loads of restaurants nearby. Loved our stay. Thanks so much.

The apartment looks a bit smaller than on pictures, but it was perfect for me and my two children. Having 3 beds was a big plus. The location is great: it felt that we were close to everything. We stayed during the week so it wasn’t too loud except one night. One bedroom has windows facing a busy street, but the second bedroom is very quit. The kitchen is small but functional. We ended up eating out all the time because you’re spoiled for choices there.

The apartment made the trip! It was in a great neighborhood with plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We mostly walked and enjoyed the neighborhood. It was a lot of fun and just what we were looking for.

Very enjoyable
The location of the property was great and it was refreshing to get two bedrooms as we had our 21-year-old daughter with us. It was extremely hot in Paris when we were there and I’ll be there we got the air condition units to work, you do have to keep the window open a bit which was super noisy in the morning. This would certainly not be an issue if there wasn’t a heat wave going through. We were greeted with a friendly face and it was truly enjoyable

Lovely caring owners with a well maintained centrally located apartment
Arranging rental was easy including a phone meeting with owners telling about the unit and the neighborhood. Check in confused as manager passed on entry to a third party resulting in unexpected delay and miscommunication. Very high temperatures during our visit- apartment had multiple fans but just one small portable ac. Comfortable beds and living area. Very crammed kitchen and though two showers, only a single toilet. While owners showed great concern for our well being, manager not accommodating.

Spacious, clean, convenient Paris apartment
We had a great experience at this apartment and would definitely come again! It had so much space for our family of four and very convenient to everything you want to see, walking or by train/bus. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location, nice stay, a few caveats
The apartment and host were nice enough. The location was fantastic, just across the street from one of the charming covered passages. So many landmarks accessible by foot. Baker, restaurants, grocery, all very accessible. We had a nice stay.
The caveats -- it's listed as two full baths but is not. I didn't catch the fine print in the description but there is only one toilet. The 2nd bath only has a shower and sink. The apartment has some wear and tear since the pictures were taken. It was clean enough but we found some strange things - a strawberry husk on the couch and a sewing needle on the floor.

Lovely Parisian Flat
This was a great place for a girls trip with my friend and our two daughters! Close to several international and French restaurants, the bakery downstairs is amazing! The street is noisy, but it’s a city so that is to be expected and it didn’t deter from the charm of the flat. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great stay in Paris!
My friend and I stayed here and loved the easy check-in, helpful welcome, the clean, bright apartment and comfortable beds, the convenience of 2 half bathrooms, and the fantastic location which was walking distance to so many wonderful places in Paris. Can't wait to come back!

Quaint flat in Montmartre Paris
Communication with the flat owners was superb. So I was extremely distressed when I learned from flat manager that owners had not received payment from Home Away. I paid in January, occupied flat Feb1st & owners waited for over 2 weeks to receive payment. Home Away said there was a “glitch”, not acceptable.
Plus they charged me a lot to make the reservation. I did not realize that was rolled into price of flat. The company needs to be more transparent . Home Away is part of VRBO so just be aware of their practices when you book.

We really enjoyed the apartment for my first time in Paris. I would have rather been closer to the Siene but the neighborhood was very charming. We walked a lot since we wanted to go to the Louvre and all the museums. The one negative was sleeping in the front bedroom was very loud outside and we kept all the windows closed. Otherwise we had a wonderful trip and saw lots of Paris by foot. Also the metro was on strike so we could not take the train

Great, two bedroom flat in the 9th. We were able to walk everywhere and most sites were within a mile walk. Plenty of metro stops, restaurants and cafes nearby. Great communication with the host. We would definitely stay here again.

Quaint and classic Paris charm but Loud
This place exuded classic Paris charm and beautiful tall windows (tricky to operate with the sheer curtains) and architectural details like crazy. Along with that beauty also comes odd room layouts and the afterthought of the separate shower and sink in the second bedroom. The air conditioning didn’t work and the two bedrooms each had 1 single room fan (no ceiling fans or other air flow). Most people were walking around in the morning or late at night with light jackets on but we wanted to sleep with the windows open and due to the bus stop down below and busy neighborhood, we constantly had loud people, music and smoke filtering up making that unrealistic for sleeping. The kitchen was so small we were not interested in cooking and the single toilet was a bit much for 4 people. When we first arrived there were no bags in the garbage cans and 2 rolls of toilet paper. I replied to an email from the owner asking about the stay so far, brought up these two and they immediately had them dropped off. The floor is so cool but it creaks and has soft spots. The door latches were all loud and there was no way to creep out quietly without waking everyone up. The rooms weren’t arranged as pictured- there was different furniture. You will need to bring your own hygiene products and soap (even for the bath sink). There IS a hair dryer and the washer and dryer were easy to use and worked well. The doors and hall lights to get in and out of the building took some getting used to as there was no explanation on where or how to open them or turn on a light. There were several grocery stores nearby as well as the unique promenade or arcade across the street. No shortage of restaurants nearby. Public transit was easy enough but we walked a lot.

We stayed for 8 nights in hot weather with another couple . The high ceilings and large rooms (for Paris) were perfect for us. AC and fans worked well, kitchen has all the basics. WiFi was a little slow, but worked. Very busy and noisy street with lots of restaurants, stores and cafes and lots more in the area. New windows in the street side bedroom did a good job of reducing the noise. One tip: Coffee carafe doesn't quit fit the machine - set carafe at an angle, not flat, to keep the drip valve open.

Summary
Great communication, good access to transit. Lots of restaurants and grocery store nearby. 20 min walk to the Louvre. Felt safe in the neighbourhood and actually everywhere we went in Paris. As others have noted street noisy as bus stop just outside bedroom/living room windows. When windows were closed not an issue. Was 42 degrees celcius when we visited had to have window open to use portable AC on. 9 foot window with 8 inch hose...leaves room for noise and heat. Used curtains to enclose 'gap'. Apartment does not have central air. Was able to cool enough by closing door between livingroom and bedrooms to keep cool
air confined to sleeping area. Clothes dryer does not appear to be vented. Was a sauna when using heat cycle. Learned to run clothes dryer with air only for a couple cycles and then hang dry. Washing machine worked well but I had to hand clean mildew from rubber seal, had to run machine a couple times to reduce mildew order...as well as shower curtain. For the money I expected near spotless with respect to the mildew. Beds were comfortable. Lots of room for a family of 4. Appartment very secure. Key fob to access foyer from street and again to enter staircase area. Small two person or 1 person/luggage elevator available but prefered to use spiral staircase to our first floor apartment. Recommended owner give more attention to details regarding washing machine and shower curtain - could easily launder or replace.

Convenient location
The apartment was just as listed and very clean. The only problem was the bedroom on the street side got a lot of street noise.

Fantastic, just what we wanted
Booked over a year ago, great communications from property owner. Perfect location, and 5 min access to subways and easy 20 min walks to the Seine, Latin Quarter etc. Very hot outside, owner provided AC and fans, greatly appreciated.

A great week in July.
The apartment was great for the four of us. It had everything we needed and it was in a good location. Emmanuelle was very nice and helpful. The air conditioning units were a plus, although they were noisy...and sleeping in the front room was challenging because of the street noise...ear plugs were needed. I would recommend the apartment though....just be prepared for some noise.

Property was in great Opera area. It was neat and clean.

Very good location and comfortable
Clean and comfortable. Only problem would be for light sleepers staying in the bedroom that is above the street . It can get very noisy with 2am pedestrians. Back bedroom is very quiet.

Lovely apt in the heart of it all
We prefer to stay in places to be closer to the locals in any city we visit. This apt is well located, well equipped and in the heart of it all. It was comfortable for the four of us (two kids and parents). The apt is on a busy street but we loved the energy of it all. The owners were accessible and very kind. Emannuelle, the local contact, was easily accessible via WhatsApp for questions. There were so many amazing places to pick up food nearby - boulangeries, chocolat, butchers, etc. Yes, there is no oven but we had no use for it. We were able to walk everywhere from this location and the public transport was close. We hope to return someday!

Missing Paris already!!
We had a wonderful vacation in Paris!! This apartment was in a great location, close to Gare St. Lazare and several Metro stops. There were also lots of cafes, bakeries, and sites to see all within walking distance. There was plenty of room for the four of us (2 adults and 2 kids), and having a washer and dryer was so nice. We felt very safe in the area, even at night. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris.
