It is a very convenient location for those going to hospitals in the First Hill area. We usually stay at the Crown Plaza, which is nicer but more expensive. I believe that The Inn Virginia Mason is a better value and more spacious. I got a suite for a price of the room elsewhere. The rooms are being modernized but still needs work. It has been curtains and carpet, but some of the furniture needed to be replaced. For example, the dresser was missing a knob and was very beat up.
It is a safe area with restaurants nearby. As well as a quick service one in the hotel. We will stay there again

Staff were super friendly. Loved the brick patio. Close to good coffee and pastries. Leafy, quiet, and walkable neighborhood. We enjoyed extended strolls to Capitol Hill, Pike Place Market, and Seattle Center. We're already looking forward to our next stay!
