Welcome to the River House! Stay in our renovated salt-box style home on the Choptank River of Maryland's Eastern Shore, with your own low-tide beach and magnificent sunsets over the water. Thoughtful detail is present throughout, creating a memorable getaway, whether for a relaxing weekend or a remote work location. Enjoy a day on the river with our paddle board or kayak. Take a day trip to visit the wonderful towns of St. Michaels, Easton, Oxford and Chestertown, all offering beautiful scenery, unique shopping and great food (especially blue crabs!).

It’s in a beautiful location right on the Choptank River. Very peaceful. We saw several bald eagles and other birds. The kayaks were easy to use. The WiFi worked great and the host was very responsive. Kitchen was well stocked and the refrigerator had automatic ice maker and filtered water. Upstairs is a Jack and Jill bathroom between two bedrooms, leaving the third bedroom without easy access to a bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

The house is as lovely as pictured, and the setting on the Choptank River is stunning. Easy drive to Easton and St Michael’s. A perfect base camp for 4 friends eager to ride on the Talbot County biking trails.Thanks so much for an amazing adventure

A wonderful stay. The house is stylish, comfortable, and perfectly positioned right in front of the river. Waking up to the peaceful water and beautiful scenery made the whole experience feel relaxing and special. The setting is quiet, tranquil, picturesque, and ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The owner also sent thoughtful personalized messages, which made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommended
