Location was superb.. Right on the High Street. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room.
Room was very basic. Shower wouldn't stay high and had a leak. No hotel bar or breakfast.
Place is under new management, and I think the low price rightly reflects the state of the hotel.
I wish the owners the best of luck with getting the place up to spec. This could be a real gem.

We’ve stayed here multiple times now. Staff are always so helpful, it’s always clean and it’s in a great location. Great value for money
Would be great to see the hotel updated

Cozy and clean old house, very friendly and helpful owner/staff, perfect location right in the heart of Rochester.
It was a little dusty in the room. The back entrance (front entrance is locked at night) should be explained a bit more clearly when checking in.

Hotel was right in the centre of Rochester, ideal for visiting the cathedral & castle. When I did see them the staff were friendly and approachable and I was able to arrange leaving my car in the hotel car park until the evening after I had 'checked out' from my room in the morning.
I entered and exited the hotel at various times during the day and the staff were not always there. I found myself letting fellow guests into the hotel.
