Sehr nettes kleines Bungalowresort. Alle Unterküfte gruppieren sich um den Pool mit Blick auf Pool,Meer und Garten. Der Garten und Pool sind gepflegt. Die Bungalows sind einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet, das Bett etwas hoch aber bequem. Das Bad ist groß und nach oben offen. Im Hauptgebäude befindet sich die Rezeption, Restaurant, Sitz-und Spieleecke. Das Frühstück und die Speisen sind preiswert und sehr zu empfehen. Es war immer ein Ansprechpartner vor Ort, Pool und Garten wurden regelmäßig gereinigt, überall standen Müllbehälter zum getrennten Sammeln bereit. Die Zimmer wurden auf Wunsch gereinigt, Handtücher konnte man jederzeit tauschen, das war völlig ok für uns. Das gesamte Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Strand ist nicht zum Baden geeignet, aber 4 km weiter ist ein wunderbarer Badestrand. An der Hauptstraße gibt es einige Restaurants, unter anderem auch eine geniale Suppenküche, nicht chick aber lecker. Mit dem Moped ist alle recht schnell zu erreichen. Alles in allem - top

Vielecht kann man die Bäder etwas schöner gestalten und den Fußboden neu machen. Es ist wirklich sauber aber trostlos. Mit etwas Farbe oder Grünzeug könnte man hier eine Oase zaubern. Um die Bungalowterasse hätte ich mir ein kleines Geländer gewünscht.

Lovely hotel with a pool

Lovely hotel, pool by the sea and in a quiet area of the island. Food was good and staff helpful. Amazing sunsets.

The bed was hard (this is in many places in Thailand)

Nice quiet resort

Lovely quiet resort. Nice pool to cool off. Bar and restaurant area with pool table and table football.

Unfortunately the resort supports elephant trekking camps, which involve cruelty to elephants. There is no beach access, but there are beaches nearby

La piscine et la vue

Chambre avec peu d’effort, pas d’eau chaude et dit qu’il y en a alors qu’elle sort à 25. J’ai louer un scooter à 300 bath et je l’avais pris en arrivant à 17h pour plus de facilité. Je l’ai rendu mon dernier jour à 19h et il m’on facture 1/2 journée pour 2 alors qu’il m’avais dit pas de problème. Il ne font jamais la chambre et le restaurant est très chère . Je recommande un petit resto à 2 min à pied nanny restaurant

location was beautiful, the pool was always clean and inviting. the swing over the sea was a gorgeous little bonus!

the air conditioning in our room was placed so only the people sleeping in the double bed could feel it. My friend staying on the single bed, found it very difficult to sleep due to the heat and no air con.

Great place!

Lovely views and good set up, really liked the pool and amazing spot for watching the sunset! Staff are really amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. Also, the free water is a great bonus!

Lovely resort in laid back Bailan Bay

The location of the resort was very good and very close to the restaurants and shops - all of which serve good food at good prices. We had time to try them all at least twice as ended up staying in the area for more days than planned as we liked the laid back feel. The resort itself was excellent and the gardens were very well maintained by a team of staff who were friendly. The swimming pool was amazing and the views from our room and the pool area were fantastic. You can watch the sunset with a cold beer from the bar. Water provided everyday when you ask and cleaning if you want. There is also a fridge in the room. You can walk to a small beach about 10-15 minutes which is closer to Lonely beach and not so steep.

The rooms were quite on the small size and not much room to put your luggage for 2 people but ok as didn't spend much time indoors. The bathroom can do with a power wash and new flooring as it is looking a bit worse for wear but is open to the elements and was probably nice at first.

Facilities all in working order which were basic but had everything needed. Nice location on the water and close to restaurants and cafes.

A heads up for solo female travellers, the main demographic appeared to be older males (sometimes accompanied by local girlfriends) with myself being the youngest woman at the site.

11/10 stay - Highly recommend Elephant Bay!

Comfortable and clean with awesome facilities and amazing staff! Feels like home! We extended our stay twice. Amazing sunset view in the evenings.

the setting was lovely, the grounds were nice and spacious is a little unkept and run down, views were lovely and gorgeous sunsets. this place could potentially be amazing but it’s a little run down and neglected. the manager was friendly and helpful but they are running on skeleton staff so if you want water, cleaning towels etc you must ask at the bar.

Great value for money, nice pool

Remy and his family were lovely, helped us to organise a snorkel trip, made sure we had what we needed etc. The pool was a big bonus for my son! More than happy considering the price and the pool.

Restaurant not open, but staff happy to order food in for delivery.

Good for long vacation

The place is quite far from the center, so it's really great if you love peach, silent and clam, staffs was very helpful and friendly. Room is so cheap and price is less than the quality. Very good for long stay

Good quiet place to live.

A good swimming pool. Very friendly staff. Stunning beautiful view of the sea. Nice garden with tasty "frog-eye" berries :)

It's impossible to swim in the sea, and there're no big supermarkets nearby. You definitely must rent a motorbike.

Disappointing

The location is nice, relaxing during daytime and perfect spot for sunset.

They played music until after midnight. It wasn't super loud but loud enough that I couldn't sleep. The walls were very thin i could hear my neighbor snoring (at least he slept well). Next day i decided to move to another place even i was booked here another night. At check out there was nobody there.... It's not the kind of quiet place as advertised i think.
