Great location, decor and architecture is amazing and very unique. The tower was so cool and the room was nice and cozy. There’s also a bathroom on the first floor at the base of the tower which is great when you don’t want to go up the spiral staircase.
Small cockroach in the 2nd floor bathroom as I was getting out of the shower. I notified and staff and had someone come out in the morning to treat the bathroom. Our neighbors came back at 2:15am and were drunk and stumbling loudly up the stairs which woke us up (and they also peed all over the seat and floors of the downstairs bathroom). They were up until 3am and kept waking us up so unfortunately, while the space is wonderful, sound travels quite a bit w the spiral staircase and you will definitely hear people going up and down the staircase if you are in the Down stairs studio room.

As far as hostels go, this one is waaaayyyy beyond the standard. I’ve stayed at so many all over the world and will definitely be coming back here the next time I’m in LA.
Wish the bar area actually served alcohol, but it was still fun to hang out there with other guests.

This place is so beautiful and cool, I’ve never seen anything like it! The bed was also super comfy and I loved all the little extras they have like toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer etc.

The room and shared bathroom were clean.
Location was good for where I needed to be.
Thin walls, located on a very busy corner. For people with light sleep I would not recommend staying here.
I had the feeling that at any moment somebody would be standing in my room.
