An additional building in the entrance area* creates a superbe transition to the historic main building (*featuring check-in, a dining area, a terrace, a roof garden, parking, etc.); exquisitely designed corridors display artworks by various renowned artists, helping to blend the huge buildings' traditional "monastery-esque" style with modern, minimalist architectural elements. Location as well as layout of the grounds offer stunning views of the surroundings and invite visitors to linger (including small gardens, a park area at the front, and terraces on every level). The breakfast buffet is exceptionally extensive — you are sure to find something for every taste, with a good variety; I have rarely seen such clearly labeled information regarding the dishes; the room is spacious yet quiet, featuring a wonderfully minimalist design and fantastic view of the surrounding area. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed environment with plenty of places for reflection (good connections to the surrounding area inclusive) this is absolutely the right place.

If you are arriving by car: Please note that the access roads and the entrances to the underground garage in the entrance building are quite narrow: This is likely unavoidable, but it also helps preserve the beauty of the building complex as unobstructed as possible.

Phenomenal location and grounds, with views in every direction and access to town square as well as a lovely adjacent bistro. It's an experience just wandering the halls of the hotel, with viewing areas into the church. The rooms were spacious, clean and lovely showers. Fantastic value for money and a stone's throw from the autobahns, with a very handy and reasonably priced car park with electric charging points. There were also 5 young eagle owls taking their first flights from the bell tower! The staff were showing us their photos of them. The breakfast was top notch too.

Only a German-style pillow (huge bag of air). Also the car park is great, but crazy tight to fit in and out of - it will test your nerve and skills.
