Easy access with the keypads, met some of the lovely kitties, great location, close to Bispham shops and tram stop. Great for seeing the Illuminations. For the price it is good value. Games room looked fun but did not get a chance to use.
Bed was a little springy and everything feels just a bit tired. With a bit of tweaking could be really good. Was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffees or way of using it. The guest wifi was not working. These are all small issues, and as we were only staying one night, and barely there, did not affect us much, but if you had a longer stay they could be a problem. Feels like you are encroaching on someones private dwelling, and not sure what rooms were what. This was probably my fault, as there was information sent, and I did skim through it but did not read it all properly.

Absolutely love this place and such value for money. It feels homely and the cats are gorgeous and loved a fuss. The gaming rooms downstairs are also fantastic and we got plenty of use out of them during our stay. Check in was easy as was access into the property and rooms. Location so convenient for the trams and on road parking also a bonus
Although not a big issue, there was some decorating/improvement work taking place across the property which we were not pre warned about.

The cats, all the different gaming platforms, was clean and tidy, WiFi was great.
Would have liked information on the cats, also an information sheet with regards to what you can/cannot use in the kitchen. First time to the hotel and wasn't sure what we could/couldn't do.

Cats are cute, friendly. The downstairs cinema room felt cozy and nice. It was kind of the host to say the kitchen is free to use even though I didn't use it. Clean enough bathroom, corridors and stairs. Best part for me was the cinema room but I just think unless you stay in all day or night then you dont have time to play games or watch films anyway. I go to stay in places just for a comfy bedroom really.
I wasn't really fussed on the other room for games as it had kids toys in rather than looking like it was clean and ready for just the guests. Obviously its their house so I get that. I just think, because I've stayed in other places before, this place felt a bit too much like someone else's house that I was invading, rather than a hotel type or B&B type vibe. My room also was not as nice as the room my sister and her boyfriend were in. Their room was very nicely decorated, as if it was more recently looked after, and the bed looked better and it smelled lovely. My room felt a lot less nice. It didn't smell nice to me and the mattress wasn't very comfortable, a bit springy. Drawers looked a bit battered. Overall my room looked worse than theirs which was disappointing and I wish I had been given the single room as I'd booked. Single room looked nicer in the pictures than this double room I was given. The size of the double room was good but to me, its about the comfort of the bed and clean decor more than the size of the rooms.
