Daniell Manor

This is an amazing property . Victorian 1800s style home converted to a hotel. The furniture and decor inside are also antiques and goes with the abundant woodwork all over home! The coffee machine heat conked out and the staff promptly planned to replace with a new one during our stay but we had to check out next morning.

Nothing really. It is in a small pretty town and just45 mts away from copper harbor. I drive a Tesla and struggled to find a supercharger . Most places near by were the slow ones that needed hours to charge. You should carry a CCS adapter, as well as your mobile charger so that you can plug in overnight when you go to bed. The NACS compatible fast charging station near by wasn’t working and we had to stay on the phone with the EV customer service to keep restarting the charge. Lost half a day when We were meant to be in exploring copper harbor. :)

Daniell Manor is unusual in that it is purposely "touchless"; all billing, delivery of entry codes, etc are transacted online, with only a brief acknowledgement by the host. As a result it has the feel of a grand Manor house whose residents are out hunting. The interior public areas are grand and stately. Our room was a suite with a well-separated sleeping area (huge sliding wooden doors!) and en-suite. The snacks and muffins were complimentary and unique.

There is a certain sense of isolation due to the "touchless " check-in and checkout. Introverts will love it.
