What a beautiful property. With fireplaces and multiple sitting areas we were spoilt for choice of where to hang out. We had a large group and had a wonderful dinner that we cooked onsite. We were all able to sit at one of the large dining areas comfortably, then had a few wines in one of the sitting rooms.
The house is in a great location and Wendy and Wayne were very helpful with our requests. The welcome platter was a lovely surprise.
We would definitely be happy to stay again.

The property is very unique and was ideal for us (7 women), the home offered 7 bedrooms with 7 bathrooms which we all loved. The decor and styling of the living areas is really well done. The location to town and railway station is all within easy walking distance. The house is on the main rd, which we didn’t know when booking. Thursday night was very noisy with endless trucks and trains moving through town. Friday and Saturday night there was very little noise at all. The kitchen is an old well used commercial kitchen that was not clean and smelt of rancid oil. The frying pans were filthy with years of baked on food left on them. The two pots that we found were Teflon coated and all scratched up and not usable. There was a huge pot that had oil left in it on the shelf. We were disappointed as we did take food to cook for breakfast and were unable to do so. The house has a dishwasher but we opted to hand wash. The dish scrubbers that were left were old dirty and well used. There was fat left all splashed up the wall at the back of the commercial stove. The kitchen was very disappointing to say the least. All bathrooms need a cleaner with an eye for detail as all vanity taps have mould in the wastes and red mould/fungus around the taps that can easily be cleaned with some bleach and an old toothbrush. Suggestions to the host buy a decent set of saucepans and a stove. Have a cleaner that can clean properly in the bathrooms. With suggestions added we would recommend staying
