About this country house rental

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is a private exclusive listing. This peaceful farmhouse and area is the perfect getaway. This oak and meadow area is only 30 minutes from Rochester Minnesota home of Mayo Clinic. You will see angus cattle grazing in the meadow and deer and wild turkeys among the old oak trees. Forestville State Park is 10 minutes away and historic Lanesboro with bike trails, fishing and canoeing is only 35 minutes from this beautiful home. 18 beds are in the entire home.

The residence was clean and well furnished, the multiple single beds were a plays for our group of travelers. Our host went beyond expectations to provide a great experience for us with information about the local area and farm operations. We had expected to have a creek within walking distance from the house, but that was not the case. Otherwise a great experience.

We lodged here for a 2-day geology fieldtrip in this region. The bedroom situation was great for us, the kitchen was setup for feeding a large group, and the host was very communicative.
