We had such a great stay just outside of Hilo on the Big Hawai‘i Island. There’s so much to see & do in the area, even in a short amount of time, so the location was perfect. It felt tucked away & peaceful, but still super convenient to swing into town for groceries or other conveniences.The house itself was exactly what we needed. Cute, clean, & private, which made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. Our host was incredibly friendly & responsive when needed, which we really appreciated.We did end up having to cut our trip a day short, but he handled it so quickly & kindly with a refund, which says a lot. We would absolutely stay here again & will definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip to Hilo!

Derrick was kind, welcoming, super helpful and available when needed. His home was immaculate, and perfect for our family vacation to the big island. We would absolutely come again, and would highly recommend this beautiful home.While there, I would recommend a trip to Pahoa for Pele’s Cafe and the Poke Cafe. Thanks for the amazing hospitality.

Kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed. There were games, books, great streaming service. The A/C kept us nice and cool. Everything was great! Derrick was very available to help with any questions. Thank you Derrick.
