Very convenient location. Loved the backyard and deck. Easy with my dogs with the fenced in back yard. A little hiccup with check-in but fixed easily and made a relaxing time. Thank you! Will definitely be back!!

We visited with an adult child and our dog. The one bathroom was large. The home is renovated with nice finishes on bathroom and kitchen. Backyard is large with privacy fence—our dog loved it! View of the church steeple from backyard lit up at night was beautiful! Bedrooms are private and great room has large sofa for tv watching. This home was the perfect place to spend a few days visiting family in Louisville.

The house was perfect for our stay. We brought our dog and the fenced in yard was great. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated and all rooms have been painted. Front porch and back deck were recently redone. Front and back doors were older and stuck a little - I am sure this is on the owners' to do list. The internet went out on the TV in the living room a couple of times. The TV in the living room only had the Samsung streaming channels, and the bedroom TV had a Fire Stick. No network channels were available, so if you are not a streaming person, you pretty much could not watch TV. I was able to hook up my laptop to the TV and login to our Spectrum cable account, which enabled us to watch the network stations for football and NFL games. I would recommend that the owners leave a list of recommended restaurants nearby. That would have been helpful. All in all, this is a great place to stay. Nice location. Short drive to the Louisville Slugger Museum, Churchill Downs and some of the distilleries.

We stayed here with two dogs and the house was perfect for us! Very clean and comfortable, reliable internet, and the fenced yard was very nice. I would definitely stay again.

Reserved this property in Jan for Aug stay of Friday & Saturday night to attend a family function. Prepaid $800 in full as required. Took our dog who is 11yrs old & has health issues including heart. Temperature outside was 90, inside house 80. Stayed this way till sometime in the wee hours of Sunday morning when air finally started working. We checked out on Sunday. Early on, the manager was responsive. Neighbor mowed back yard & tech came Sat around 3pm to look at air cond. Coils frozen which he said happens about every 3 months. He turned heat on to thaw coils and got house hotter to 84. Was supposed to flip it back to cool per remote control & have house cool when we got back from function. Did not. My dog was left in that heat till we got home at 10pm. Took us till 11pm to figure out Nest Thermostat mode change from heat to cool (manager no longer responding). Hours later, house started to cool off. Emailed manager that they should refund part of our stay. No reply.

I loved my stay at Maria's house! The host was such a great communicator and left detailed instructions every step of the way. The bed was wonderfully comfortable; in fact, the whole house was updated. The fenced in back yard was the icing on the cake for dogs. I'm incredibly happy with my visit, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Maria!

The house is very cute and is in a sweet neighborhood and felt safe. We arrived to the house and it had not been cleaned yet, and it was 3 hours past checkin time when we arrived. We had to contact the owner where we had to take photos and send them to her to show how the place was left and was not clean. It was a huge inconvenience due to the fact we were on the road all day with our 2 dogs. A cleaning service was called out at 8 pm at night to clean the place as we sat there on our time. It was not a good start. The place was cleaned and we were told they would bring us more towels and coffee in the morning and we never saw the cleaning service again. It was suitable for our dogs, but if you have young children I would be concerned about the back deck and storm door area. The place is very cute with a wonderful kitchen and bathroom, but parts of the home need some TLC. When we were leaving the VRBO site say said check out time is 11am, but the sign in the home said 10am. There seems to be a little miscommunication. We did have an issue with the air conditioning in the beginning but that was resolved by the owner. The back door is very worn and a lock stick was used to lock it or keep it more secure. I am not sure if I would come back, but I do love the area. The surrounding area offers a lot to dine and walk around.

The house was perfect for our family of 5 and dog. The house was clean and in a safe walkable neighborhood. We walked to the park, coffee shop and a great hot chicken restaurant. The backyard was completely fenced and perfect for our dog. We struggled a bit with the TV, however, the home owner was very helpful and responsive. Only thing I would suggest is replacing the back door. It is very worn and has chipping paint. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

We were thankful to find this gem close to where our son was playing basketball. The home was very comfortable and accommodating. The back yard was perfect for our dogs. We will be back & hope to stay again!
