Picked this property for the total package only to find a couple of key factors to be very inconvenient.

Location, staff, cleanliness

Bar was only scheduled to be open until 10:00 on a Saturday night. Got back before scheduled closing time to be able to relax at bar only to find it was not open. One of the reasons this property was selected. Water pressure for shower was extremely lacking and shower head was barely functional on any setting. Took a very long time to shower.

This is the third time I have communicated with you (Booking.com) concerning a credit owed to me. I, Kathryn Bergwall, made this reservation for Henry Neale for May26-27. 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn St. Mathews in Louisville, KY. I, Kathryn Bergwall, guaranteed the reservation with my credit card and used my email address. When Mr. Neale checked into the hotel he presented his credit card for payment. However, not only did you charge Mr. Neale's credit card but you charged my card as well. I spoke to the person at the desk at the Hilton Garden Inn where I was also staying pointing out the mistake. He said that indeed both credit cards had been charged for Mr. Neale's room (#202) and he would credit back to you the charge on my card and you would in turn credit my card. A month later and you have yet to credit my card the amount of $498.57. I fail to understand why this is taking so long and why I have to continue to communicate the mistake to you. Please make this the last time I have to do this and credit back to my card the amount of $498.57. Thank you

Great location! Anything and everything was close by. I love that it had an indoor pool.

Pillows were not very comfortable, for the price it should include breakfast at the hotel restaurant, the pool was a little cool, and they charge a parking fee for parking in the parking lot🤷🏼‍♀️.

half decent, pancakes were like hockey pucks, good eggs and bacon

only one elevator working. took a long time to get to my floor. Absolutely no bar soap in the hotel. I've stayed in a lot of crappie hotels, but they always had soap!!!

Foul mouthed staff, dirty bathroom, stains all over towels

Bed was comfy

TV kept messing up, bathroom was dirty, oh, and you guys charged me twice for the same room and I've called twice about refunding the random second charge for the room and you still haven't refunded it. How about someone do this before I contact the BBB.

I didn't like when I arrived the attendant first said 'Are you checking in, I said yes and then she stopped to help the people walking in after me. I was there 10 min.trying to find my confirm number. She made me feel like I didn't have a booked room, she said she couldn't find me. after she asked my last name. 3x The room above me was so loud, I couldn't sleep. Overall was not happy! The attendant working front desk 🙁 I felt like I was dealing with someone who just started work there and didn't know what she was doing. Last week when I stay there, I was greeted and attended fantastic. I would give him 10!!! I would have rated you 10 but yesterday I would rate you 2!!! Because of the girl working the front desk and how she made me feel. 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and location was great but the parking fee is a game changer.

The common areas and room was clean and staff was professional. My husband enjoyed the breakfast which included potatoes and scrambled eggs. The location was next to St. Matthews Mall and closed to everything imaginable.

Upon checkout, the hotel charged for parking. When I asked the lady when this fee went into affect, she advised that they started charging a parking fee per day this weekend. I advised that when I booked this hotel on booking.com, that fee wasn't listed. She did credit off the 2 days of parking fees.
