The unique choice at Tamar Negara - clean - definitely not maintained - maybe 20 years back was a great place to stay now it is the unique choice -
Generally the maintenance - absence of service - breakfasts at the limit of the hygiene

The size of the hotel and staff were smiling and courteous.
When l arrived, l was shown a room below reception which l was lead through gravel and stones on the floor with workmen drilling. The room had 2 single beds and was extremely hot with a small window. I had requested a double room and advised the lady. I had 2 cases in which one was large and which I had to carry down to the basement room and then back up again. Luckily one of the workers offered to help me. Eventually l got moved to a bungalow with a double bed on the 1 st floor which was much more suitable.

Clean and located reasonably close to jetty
For the price, the quality of furnishing & food could have been better. Usable/edible but can be improved. Place/room looks a bit dilapidated.
