The property was beautiful!

The cabins were charming and had all the amenities.

Nothing.

Great location and comfortable cabin.

The property is well located and situated in a rural area. The cabins were cute and tidy but those in at the front of the properly are fairly close together and fairly close to the road. For all the acreage of the place it would be nice if the cabins were spaced further apart. We visited in late August, which any more turns out to be wildfire season in Oregon. Thankfully this location is a bit of a pocket where wind conditions keep the worst of the smoke away but not entirely. Understanding that these are rustic accommodations with no A/C, during a smoky late-summer stay the choices are to leave windows open for temperature comfort and inhale smoke, or close the windows and hope the few provided fans circulate interior air enough to keep you cool enough to sleep. There is no good solution to this situation and the property management has "had to adopt a strict cancellation policy" as the wildfires have increased in frequency and severity during their peak season. All there is to say really is "Buyer be 'ware".

Staff were rather scarce and seemed to work banker's hours. It was difficult to find anyone manning the front desk after about 4pm, even during a peak-season weekend. There were some nice amenities but the hot tub was very small and was taken out of service for maintenance on a Saturday. We tried to negotiate a postponement of our stay, rather than a cancellation, due to extremely bad wildfire smoke and unhealthy air quality index in the area but they were rigid about their policy.
