Great place to stay while on the road

Warm and comfortable. Liked the atmosphere of an older inn. Liked the addition of an extra space to work in

Need to provide a few snacks as restaurant was not open early enough for people who travel and have diabetes.

Séjour agréable contribuant à l'atmosphère de vacances.

L'établissement est vraiment très bien situé. La possibilité d'accéder à la galerie au 1 er étage, amène un charme au séjour. Les chambres sont bien équipées (cafetière , micro onde, réfrigérateur avec une petite partie congélateur etc.).

L'entretien général de l'Hôtel laisse à désirer. Bien que la propreté soit adéquate, plusieurs détails montrent une négligence au niveau de l'entretien. Par exemple, tapisserie déchirée, manque de recouvrement dans le bas des murs , la présence de tapis superposés dans la chambre etc.) Il y a un restaurant, mais non ouvert pour les déjeuners, ce serait avantageux de pouvoir déjeuner à même l'hôtel. Le fait que ce dernier soit ouvert le soir, créé du bruit au delà de 22h30 . Probablement plus perceptible pour les chambres situées près de l'escalier menant au restaurant. (Pour les couches tôt porter attention à la situation de votre chambre).

Overpriced shabby rooms but can’t beat the location

Historic Inn in a great location right across from the pier and many shops/restaurants. A beautiful front porch, we sat sipping scotch and playing cards while watching a thunderstorm.

The whole place is quite run down and in need of a good scrub. The carpets are filthy throughout. It’s an old Inn so the rooms are small which is fine, but there’s no reason that they should be dirty and smelly! All of the baseboards and corners, doors etc needed a good scrub. The carpet is torn and filthy.

Lovely. Need to improve food quality.

The manager was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was excellent!

We tried dinner and were disappointed. Manager stepped in and adjusted mistake on bill, but to be fair our waiter was delightful but very new on the job. Food was average.

A wonderful Inn with lots of history and friendly staff

So friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. The owner checked us in and made us feel very welcome to the area.

We loved it

It is a beautiful old house, very well situated. The room was very clean. Staff was friendly. Drop box for keys by the front door made checkout very simple.

The front door was locked when we arrived (although check in time was mentioned in confirmatoin e-mail) which was stressful for half a minute. Our only real complaint: the thinest toilet paper ever encountered.

Enjoyed the town of St Andrews, would go back.

We were there in the off season and we were upgraded to a better room . Good food in the restaurant too. Right down town. A real historic hotel. Beautiful!!

The friendless of staff and management. Fresh towels were delivered every morning with bathroom supplies. The food was delicious especially the fish. The closeness of getting to the Passamaquoddy lodge.

Ideally located, clean and friendly atmosphere!!

It’s a heritage place I think circa 1880’s, a lot of history in pictures and other art. The location is perfect

Alls I can say about disliking well not the property is that it was winter and I’m basically over winter.

We left due to the extent of the renovations and outdated room right above the renovations.

We left after seeing our room. This spot is under MAJOR renovations. No partitions on main floor for renovation area. The room esp bathroom is Circa 1970s Formica countertops and sliding glass shower doors. Dingy, old. Dated. We were shocked as NOT what we expected. Unfortunately we booked on " Booking .com" on our way through from the states. We plan to take our issues up with them as the owner. Dominique would not refund us. He is under the impression we left because the area had little opened. Not the case at all. We did not feel safe staying there. The Inn is Circa 1881, which left us to wonder about exposure to lead, asbestos etc

This property should not be opened to the public while being renovated .

Superb

Beautiful, historic seaside mansion with all updated, modern amenities in a maritime setting made for an enjoyable and exciting stay. The proprietor upgraded our room free of charge since our original reserved accommodation was damaged by a strong, winter storm. We were immediately notified that the change would need to be made, and we were quickly made at ease. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There was a lot of work being done to the restaurant and bar area and the obvious upgrades will provide for a full-service good time.

Lovely Inn. Hospitality was excellent. A good value.

Lovely accommodations. It is currently under renovation which did not impact my stay. Convenient location and parking.

The Kennedy house had just changed hands so I am not able to comment. I will Comment on my next visit. The hospitality was wonderful
